Family Photo: The Alves-McConaugheys Park It!
Sean Harding/Daniel/INF |
Having arrived in the Big Apple the night before, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves wasted no time bringing their son Levi to Central Park Tuesday to burn off some energy!
The 20-month-old — sporting a jaunty cap like Dad — was happy to run around pointing out and identifying objects for his parents.
“Levi is into everything. You don’t go out and walk in the backyard and daydream for five seconds or they’re on top of the house,” Matthew told Jay Leno recently.
“[Levi's] … going to be an astronaut because he’s always like air traffic control. From a bird to a plane, sun, moon, cloud, everything in the air.”
The couple are in the city as Camila promotes her role as host of Bravo’s Shear Genius, accompanied by their children and the model’s mother.

Bugaboo Debuts New and Improved Bee!
Courtesy of Bugaboo |
Moms are buzzing about the newly redesigned Bugaboo Bee ($650, left) — and for good reason.
The original Bee ($529) — which is the ride of choice for celeb babies like Levi McConaughey and Violet Grohl — is known for its smooth ride.
But the updated version boasts some noteworthy improvements. And with the increase in price, this makes all the difference.
Topping our list is the new wider backrest. Not only does it simultaneously adjust with the stroller’s sun canopy and 5-point harness, but you can move it into four different positions.
The stroller also features a comfy, ergonomically shaped seat that easily turns to face you or the world.
The height-adjustable handlebars, redesigned wheels and new brake system are also impressive.
With all these changes, Bugaboo made sure to keep the compact fold — one of our favorite features from the original.
There are also lots of handy add-ons including a reversible bamboo seat liner ($60) and an extendible sun canopy ($70).
Look out for the new Bee in April! Check here for news.

Ludacris: Daughter Karma’s My ‘Road Dog’
Eric Charbonneau/Wireimage |
Of all his titles — rapper, actor, restaurant owner and philanthropist — Chris ‘Ludacris‘ Bridges says that it is the role of dad which brings him the most happiness.
Calling daughter Karma, 8, his “best friend,” the entertainer tells USA Today he is never lonely. “She rolls with me,” he reveals.
“Whenever I’m at the restaurant, she’s there trying to help out the servers and she gets paid for that. And whenever I’m acting, she’ll come on set and root me on.”
Karma even gets a glimpse of her dad working the stage.
“I’ll bring her to some of my shows,” Ludacris, 32, says, clarifying that his daughter only attends “the clean ones I do at festivals where there are other kids.” He adds,
“She’s my road dog and she loves it.”
Karma is Ludacris’ only child.

Mario Lopez, Girlfriend Expecting a Baby
Splash News Online |
Already named PEOPLE’s 2008 Bachelor of the Year, Mario Lopez is now a frontrunner for a new title: sexiest father alive. The Extra host’s girlfriend is expecting their first child in the fall.
“I’m really excited. I’m happy. I can’t wait to be a dad,” Mario tells PEOPLE.
The actor, 36, and his girlfriend, actress Courtney Mazza, 28, met in 2008 when Mario starred in A Chorus Line on Broadway.
So is the former Dancing with the Stars competitor – and longtime playboy – ready for diaper duty?
“Of course,” Mario says. “I grew up in a large family. I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby's sex] so it will be a surprise.”
Mario is also the host of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.

Sarah Shahi: How I Handled My Home Birth
![]() Courtesy Life & Style for use on CBB |
There was no last-minute bag packing or rushing to the hospital for Sarah Shahi when she went into labor last July. Instead, after realizing that her water had broken, the actress grabbed her purse and her husband and headed out to enjoy their last day as a pair.
“I told my husband [Steve Howey], ‘I want to go, I don’t want to sit around and wait for the labor,’” she tells the February issue of Pregnancy.
After stopping for breakfast, Sarah got the urge to shop. “I was having contractions as I was walking through the shoe department,” she laughs.
“And then we went to American Apparel and we went to the liquor store — I bought a bottle of brandy.”
Calling it a day around 4 p.m., the couple returned home to begin to prepare for the arrival of their baby boy.
“I had a home birth because I really believe in the body’s natural ability to give birth. The medical profession has kind of warped women’s minds into thinking we don’t know how to birth and we need doctors and epidurals and Pitocin,” she explains.
Determined to welcome her son into “the world in a really loving, peaceful, warm environment that we were all very familiar with,” Sarah opted for a water birth assisted by a midwife.
Amidst tunes from Bob Marley and Frank Sinatra, as well as Salt-n-Pepa’s “Push It,” the former Life star’s vision was fulfilled when William Wolf was born.
“The lights were dim and we had the heater going, so it was nice and warm,” she recalls. “[He] came out into a tub of water and then my husband brought him up for air,” she shares.
As for the new mom, a few extra minutes were needed to completely comprehend the experience.
“I was kind of shell-shocked when he came out. I was like, ‘What the f–k just happened? Oh my God, what do I do?’ And my midwife said, ‘Sarah, you need to turn around and hold your baby.’ It was much easier when he was in my belly.”
Click below for what Sarah wishes someone had told her about delivery and why diaper changes are “epic.”
