According to the gossiplist, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (one of my favorite shows!) star Mariska Hargitay is supposedly pregnant. She married Peter Hermann on August 28, 2004.

In June 1967 she and her two brothers were asleep in the back seat of a car when it smashed into the back of a trailer truck instantly killing her mother, Jayne Mansfield, the driver and Mansfield’s boyfriend, attorney Sam Brody. Miraculously, the three children escaped with minor bruises. Her dad is Hungarian actor and former Mr. Universe (bodybuilder) Mickey Hargitay.

Bridget Fonda and her composer husband Danny Elfman have revealed the actress is pregnant with her first child. The new member of the famous Fonda clan is due to arrive in February.

Bridget is the daughter of Peter Fonda, niece of Jane Fonda and granddaughter of Henry Fonda and is Larry Hagman’s goddaughter. Bridget Fonda’s film credits include The Godfather III, Doc Hollywood, Singles, Jackie Brown and Single White Female.

You know Danny Elfman from his eerily beautiful scores from the Men in Black movies, Batman, the Spider-Man movies, Hulk, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Good Will Hunting, Red Dragon, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and most recently, Desperate Housewives. He is a founding member of Oingo Boingo. His nephew Bodhi is married to Jenna Elfman.

The couple was married in November 2003.

Julia Roberts has given birth to twins – a boy and a girl – by Caesarean section in a Los Angeles hospital, PEOPLE has learned. Their names are Phinnaeus Walter Moder and Hazel Patricia Moder.

The 37-year-old actress, who is married to cameraman Danny Moder, 35, gave birth at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning, a source tells PEOPLE. Mother and babies are doing fine. No other details are available.

Editor’s Note: Walter was Julia’s deceased father’s name, and Patricia is Danny’s mother’s name.

Actress Laurel Holloman, 36, the star of Showtime’s The L Word, and her husband, production designer Paul Macherey, 36, had their first child, daughter Lola, on November 4th in Vancouver BC.

Actor Wally Kurth, who plays Ned Ashton on General Hospital, and his wife Debra welcomed their first child together, son Brogan George, on November 14th.  Kurth has two daughters, Meghann (from a previous relationship) and Rosabel Rosalind (from his marriage to actress Rena Sofer).      

Country singer Martina McBride and her husband John are expecting their third child in June.  They have two daughters, Delaney Katharine and Emma Justine.

Actress Bridget Fonda and her husband, composer Danny Elfman, are expecting their first child in February. 

Gawker Stalker spotted her. Thought she was 7 months pregnant last spring. Guess not!

Saw Joan Osborne and a cute redheaded guy going into the movie "Ray" on Wednesday 11/17. She’s hugely pregnant.

JOLIE’S KID IS A TOUGH BOY

Celebrity single mom Angelina Jolie fears her 3-year-old son has a violent streak because he’s a good swordsman and knows how to fell a man.

The actress admits she was both horrified and delighted when little Maddox knocked a security guard out by punching him in the genitals.

She explains, "There was this security guy that I’m close to and we’re friends with him and he was playing with him and he punched him right in the [bleep] and pretty much flattened him.

"He was just playing. I said, ‘Not good, not good,’ then secretly went ‘Good shot.’"

But it’s little Maddox’s fencing skills that really impress mom: "He’s really good. He’s a tough kid."

Charlie Sheen’s inspiration for naming his daughter Sam has been unveiled – it was the moniker of his old cat.

The actor and his wife Denise Richards welcomed their small bundle ofjoy into the world in March and immediately announced that her namewould be Sam.

And months later, Richards now admits that the name actually came from Sheen’s feline friend.

She says, "Charlie really wanted Sam (as a name for our daughter) and Idreamed of one day naming a girl Sophia – something feminine – or Emma.  She’s named after the cat. We don’t have the cat anymore, though."
