Pregnancy Style:  Pregnancy did not stop Gwyneth from wearing low cut dresses and tops, showing off her growing bossom. She also opted for traditional sweaters and coats when it was cold though.

Nanny or No:  No,  Baby Apple is cared for by Gwyneth and family

What she really owns:  A black Bugaboo, Bugaboo Diaper Bag,  Pink Uggs, Baby CZ ivory set, Funkie Baby Bibs, a Silver Cross Pram, a Nursery Window Nursery, natural baby products from Fresh and Wild.

Why we love her:  She is so affectionate with Apple, quit her movie career to stay at home, takes the baby everywhere, named Apple after her two grandmothers, and best of all she is such a baby trendsetter!

No, not more Britney rumors.  She could pregnant with septuplets and I still might not care.  Why won’t she just go away? 

According to the Daily News, Elizabeth Hurley is telling friends she is almost two months pregnant with businessman boyfriend Arun Nayer’s child.  However, her London rep denies she is expecting what would be her second child. But an insider says the model and "Austin Powers" actress has told her family she is almost two months pregnant.   Hurley already has a son, Damien, 2, from a brief relationship with American playboy Steve Bing.

Also, rumors are afloat about Sarah Jessica Parker being pregnant with her second child with husband Matthew Broderick.  Apparently, they have been trying to give two year old son James Wilke a sibling since Sex and the City ended.  A source told British magazine New!: "She’s not said anything but quite a few of her friends have noticed one or two tell-tale signs of good news on the way.  She’s made no secret of wanting another baby, a girl this time, and Matthew is very keen to have more kids. She wanted to take time off for her family then pick up her career later."

Experts say that "breast is best."  The following celebrity moms agree!

Tori Amos said: "An ounce of breastmilk is even more potent than the finest tequila." 

Erykah Badu said, of her son, Seven: "When I first had the baby, I was breastfeeding for two years straight, so we were together for two years of his life – every day, all hours of the day. Karenna Gore Schiff juggled her third year of law school, breastfeeding son Wyatt and working on her father’s 2000 presidential campaign.  She’s very political about the subject, saying, "we have to do a lot more as a society to accommodate working mothers. Breast feeding in itself is a real challenge. I had this vision of breast feeding lounges or something. I’ve found that since I’ve had my baby I find that other mothers are the most helpful."

When Catherine Zeta-Jones had her son Dylan, she told OK! Magazine, "I’m going to do it as long as I can. …there is something so intimate about it. For that one hour or 45 minutes it’s just wonderful. It’s wonderful bonding and you know they’re getting these antibodies."

From time to time, CBB readers email us with baby news and opinions.  I haven’t had a chance to factcheck or research anything, but I wanted to post these before I go away for Thanksgiving.

Jacquie told us: Laurel Holloman (actress from The L Word) gave birth to a baby girl on November 5th 2004.

Similarly, Scribechick told us: Rumor has it that she and husband Paul Macherey welcomed a daughter on November 5.

Jennifer M. told us: I think I finally found the info about Wendy Moniz and Frank Grillo. I saw this posted on a chat group for Wendy Moniz. The moderator posted that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy which they named Liam. Didn’t give a birth date but the announcement was posted 06/30/04. They also have a son Remy.

She also told us: There is an Essence magazine article with Lela Rochon Fuqua where she is quoted as saying she was due with a baby boy in May. Of course this article took place before the birth so there is no info on the name, date, etc.

Sarah T told us:  Eric Clapton and wife are expecting their third baby this spring joining daughters Julie and Ella.   I read this in US magazine and People.

Michele L. wants to know which celebs are using cloth diapers: Hi, I really like your blog about celebrity babies — I use cloth diapers for my non-celebrity baby and since I found out that Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby use cloth diapers I’ve been curious about what other celebs are using them.   Please let me know of any other celebrities off the top of your head who use them (i don’t need any lists — if you can think of one other one that would be great).

Jane M. wants to know: Can anyone tell me why everytime I see Courteney Cox-Arquette out with her husband and baby, she is (a) never smiling,(b) never holding the baby. As a mother of two children I think her beghavior is quite odd. After such a battle trying to get pregnant I would have expected her to be
constantly carrying and cuddling her child. Does she have post natal depression?

Filipina actress Ruffa Gutierrez gave birth to her second daughter, named "Venicia Loran-Bektas" on Saturday, September 11 at 12:17 p.m. at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital. "Venice" (her nickname), who weighs 5.3 lbs and is 17.5 inches long, arrived three weeks earlier than her scheduled delivery.

Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, 37, says she hopes to be pregnant with a second child as soon as possible. She and her actor husband, Chris Backus, had a baby girl. "Now we want a boy," she says. "Hopefully next year."

BABY BEAT: In the midst of covering the November 2nd elections, ABC pundit and former Clinton White House aide George Stephanopoulos had something else to think about. He’s recently learned wife (and former TV talk show host) Ali Wentworth is expecting the couple’s second child. Daughter Elliott is two.

Supermodel Angela Lindvall is preggers again. The covergirl, 25, is married to William Edwards, a commercial diver; the couple have a son, Dakota, born in 2002. Lindvall’s reps had no comment on the new spawn and declined to say when the baby is due. However, Lindvall is set to be the new face of Calvin Klein in the designer’s spring 2005 ad campaign breaking in January. After that she’ll be taking some time off to be a mom and work with her eco-friendly foundation, Collage.

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer has given birth to a 7lb, 2 ounce baby girl.

The baby will be a sister for 22-month-old Caspar, director Matthew Vaughn and Schiffer’s first child.

Their daughter was born at the Portland Hospital in central London at 11am today and both mother and baby are doing well.

German-born Schiffer, 34, and Layer Cake director Vaughn married in Suffolk in 2002.

Vaughn, 33, today said he was “thrilled” about the birth of his “beautiful daughter”.

He said: “It is difficult to put into words how I feel at the moment.

“We are absolutely thrilled at our newest addition to our family.

“I would like to thank my beautiful wife Claudia for giving me an equally beautiful daughter, a little sister for Caspar.

“Claudia and I would like to pass on our thanks to everyone at the Portland Hospital.”

German born Claudia met Vaughn at a party in Los Angeles and the couple now live in London.

A spokeswoman said “Both mother and daughter are doing well.”
