From Agatha to Apple – A 2004 Celebrity Baby recap
Just a few random things I noticed about the 2004 list:
There were 224 celeb and royal babies born this year, by my count – 111 boys and 113 girls.
Birth breakdown by month:
January – 22 (12 boys, 10 girls)
February – 17 (10 boys, 7 girls)
March – 23 (11 boys, 12 girls)
April – 21 (10 boys, 11 girls)
May – 19 (8 boys, 11 girls)
June – 12 (7 boys, 5 girls)
July – 20 (13 boys, 7 girls)
August – 7 (5 boys, 2 girls)
September – 19 (8 boys, 11 girls)
October – 23 (11 boys, 12 girls)
November – 12 (4 boys, 8 girls)
December – 19 (9 boys, 10 girls)
And during the summer, there were 4 (2 boys, 2 girls).
The most popular boy’s name was Charles/Charlie (4 – Charles PatrickWilson, Charlie Redknapp, Charlie Raymond, Charlie Kay), followedclosely by Roman (3 – Roman Zelman, Roman Upton, Roman Keitel). Themost popular girl’s name was Olivia (4 – Olivia Henman, Olivia Piscopo,Olivia Vedder, Olivia Fluent), followed by variations of Lily (3 – LilyHanna Rich, Lilly Margaret Brandt, Lillie Bush).
There were eleven sets of twins (4 boy/boy, 3 boy/girl, 4 girl/girl) and one set of triplets (boy/girl/boy).
A few trends that I observed:
The appearance of several, more old-fashioned female names – Agatha(Gibson), Clementine (DeVere Drummond), Hazel (there were two – Lessardand Moder), Martha (Gerrard-Wright), Matilda (Doucette).
The use of a middle initial instead of a middle name – there were threeJ’s (Sam J. Sheen, Whizdom J. Williams, and Daniel Julez J. Smith).
A decline in the number of Avas/Ellas/Lolas/Stellas/Jacks – 1 Ava(Vincent), 2 Ellas (Winter & Saucedo), 2 Lolas (Carter &Macherey), 1 Stella (Vincent), and 2 Jacks (Boardman & Sand).

I tried sending this via email, but the delivery failed so I’m posting it here.
Hi, I just thought you might want to add the following sites to your website as they feature items used by such notables as Kate Hudson & Angelina Jolie and have been mentioned in US Weekly & Vanity Fair.
My personal fav. http://www.lifesizekids.com/index.php for “Lifesize Kids”. It features Baby Uggs (along with plenty of other cute shoes), a section on “All Star Moms & Rock Star Babies”, and numerous brands for the celeb conscious like Juicy Couture a Paper Denim & Cloth. It gives you the dish on what they’re really buying.
Not as great, but interesting http://www.totshop.com/shop/tots/default.asp for “Totshop” which has a similar feel.
