Whitney and Bobby to lose custody of daughter?

Tags: Rumors

Crackswack1yr 5_9 A supposed family friend wrote into Wendy Williams radio show to discuss the current Brown/Houston family situation-you may not all know that Whitney returned to court-ordered rehab last week.

Anyway, the ‘friend’ says that Cissy Houston, Whitney’s mother, is ready to file for custody of 12 year old Bobbi Kristina, she is so convinced that her parents are unable to provide proper care. Cissy is apparently the person who petitioned the court to get Whitney back in rehab.

The house is said to not be the proper environment for a child. Whitney’s addiction is rumored to be not only cocaine, as previously reported, but also crystal meth as well. Whitney was not present at Bobbi Kristina’s recent party, leading to even more questions and rumors. Hopefully the situation will be resolved.

  1. Courtney Says:

It’s about time…dont know why it wasnt done a looong time ago…..

  2. Heather Says:

Because nobody would stand up to her until now I guess. A few years ago her mother tried to force her into rehab and whitney threatened she would never see her grand-daughter again.

  3. sy Says:

She (Whitney) looks awful. They should have her picture in one of those public awareness ads against drugs. Poor child, I hope she does get to live a more balanced, happy life with her grandmother.

  4. me Says:

Hopefully it wont be too late for that little girl! One could only imagine what conditions she has seen her “parents” in.

  5. tink1217 Says:

i hope that little girl won’t be scarred for life! lets hope whitney finally gets the help she desperately needs! i am sure grandma will take good care of Bobbie.

  6. cv Says:

Whitney looks so old, so used…how very sad. I remember when she was first getting “big”, how beautiful and talented she was. What a shame…just goes to show what drugs can do to you. I hope that their daughter finds a safe place, wherever that might be.

  7. Nat Says:

It is so sad to see Whitney like this. I feel so bad for their little girl. I think that Whitney’s mom is doing the best thing of taking her away from that environment. Whitney used to be such a beautiful, talented singer/actress. As soon as she became involved with Bobbi Brown, that became the beginning of the end for her. Why doesn’t she clean up her act and kick Bobbi right out the door. She is not only ruining her life anymore, but also her innocent daughter’s life!!!

  8. Shannan Says:

I’m an avid listener to Wendy Williams and I heard this letter on the radio yesterday. It was the saddest thing to hear. I couldn’t believe this was the life Bobbi Kristina was living. I hope that poor girl doesn’t follow in her parents foot steps with the drugs. I hope seeing what they do to people will hopefully make her decide not to become what her mother has become. My prayers to that family.

  9. maia Says:

It is very sad. When I think of how talented and beautiful Whitney was when she started out and compare her now it is so very sad. Hoping her daughter does go live full time with Gramma, sounds like the girl could use a stable home..

  10. Jennifer Says:

Maybe getting her daughter taken away will make Whitney realize there’s more to life than drugs and she’ll get clean. For good.

  11. Lauren Says:

This is extremely sad. Ever since Whitney married Bobby Brown she has been a mess. She is such a talent. I don’t know how she ended up with him in the first place. They were and are so different!

    Good luck to Whitney!!

  12. Erica Says:

I REALLY don’t want this to be taken the wrong way, but maybe it’s good that Whitney and Bobby never had any more kids. I know how much they struggled for Bobbi and how happy I was for them to finally have a baby, but considering what they must have put that poor little girl through with their problems, it’s good they didn’t expose any other children to it.

  13. Steph Says:

First of all..Bobbi Kristina is not a “little girl” anymore she is already 13 or 14 and unfortunatly that probably means that the damage is already done. Hopefully everything will work out for her and her grandmother can serve as a more positive role model for her.
Also: On VH1 diva’s show about a year ago or so.. Whitney was a couple months pregnant and Bobby bought her this huge ring and they were so happy and it was all over the place.. then everyone forgot all about it. Obviously she had a miscarriage, but does anyone remember this?

  14. Donna Says:

Actually, Bobbi Kristina just turned twelve on March 10, but that is besides the fact. If she was going down any wrong path, lets just hope that she will find stability with her grandmother. I do feel very bad for her. No child deserves that!!!!

  15. Alyson Says:

Steph- I kinda remember hearing about that.

  16. Laura-Ann Says:

It’s a d*mn shame that someone so successful, let it all go down the drain like Whitney did. I hope Bobbie Kristina is okay, I cannot imagine going though what she is.

  17. Erin Walker Says:

Well I’m pretty sure that it’ll be like what it was with Courtney Love, her mom is possibly going to have Bobbi Kris temporarliy,I meanif other parents were acting that dispicably, the Social Services would take them away and the’d have no chance of getting their child back whatsoever, but They’re famous and have money,so I would not be supriesd if they’re deemed fit!

  18. HE Says:

Ok, I try to say nice things always but….It really $#@!ing ticks me off that some people cannot get it together for the sake of their children! IF this is true (and I feel it is) then I hope her grandma does get custody. I empathize with Whitney if she did lose a child (it’s a horrendous experience I’m sure) and maybe that pushed her over the edge but that is no exuse! Cocaine and meth?! I just thank God everyday for my health, well being, and family.

  19. Lisa Says:

My brothers and myself are living proof that we are not ‘damaged’ or automatically doomed for failure. Both of our parents are drug addicts and alcoholics. I have a college degree and my brothers are on on the Dean’s list in college. None of us smoke but I have a beer when I go out.
The fact is, most drug addicts had decent childhoods and parents who sheltered them. My parents and Whitney Houston were sheltered as children. I don’t want to generalize here but my point is, Bobbi Kristina should turn out fine. If she is smart, she will use her parents as an example of how NOT to live your life. My brothers and I aspire to live healthy lives unlike our parents.

  20. HE Says:

Lisa, You are very blessed indeed to overcome your situation. Unfortunately though studies show that children in these families are at high risk. Bobbi Kristina is fortunate to have her grandmother and will more likely be okay. But for those that do not have other family to support them, it is a difficult task to overcome. You are correct in saying “automatic doom” is not necessarily the case. However you must admit that their is significantly higher risk.

  21. Sherrain Says:

As much as i loved bobby and whitney as artist i DON’T love them as parents, ones voilent and the other is a drug addict. in my own personal opion, there daughter needs to go to a realtives or somewere were she feels safe. when and IF her parents have fully sORTED THEMSELVES OUT THE MAYBE THEY COULD GET SOMETHING SORTED IN ORDER 2 SEE THERE DAUGHTER AGAIN!!!.

  22. thuds Says:

Evidently there were issues evolving in Whitney’s life before she met Bobby. Regardless of Bobby’s history, Whitney is damn grown and it was her own choice to start doing these drugs. Nobody is forced to do anything against their own will. I really think she’ll end up like Billie Holiday if she doesn’t straighten up fast.
My main prayer is for Krissi and grandmother, Cissi. I really feel that Cissy needs to take over as legal gaurdian at this point to wake Whitney up.

  23. Clare Says:

Their daughter is cute. She deserves a better life.

  24. M. Says:

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion; I must say, that we all know that Whitney has a problem. Instead of putting her down, we need to lift her up in prayer. Prayer changes things. She is down today, it could be you or me tomorrow. There is still hope for Whitney. God can change anybody or any situation. Just think how her mother feel about all of the terrible things being said about her daughter. I’m sure some of you all are mothers too. Wouldn’t you want people to help pray your child through to deliverance instead of putting him down? Take time and pray for Whitney, Bobbie Kristina, Mrs. Cissy Houston and Bobbie Brown, they are human too and they really need everyone prayers.
