Tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt sells his baby’s first year for $1 million
Australian tennis ace Lleyton Hewitt and his wife Bec Cartwright have been apparently paid $1 million for the exclusive rights to their baby’s first year by Australian magazine Woman’s Day. Lleyton and Bec are featured in a cover story this week that shows the couple in their $4.5 million house eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child.
Earlier this year the couple received $500,000 and a 10-page spread from a rival magazine, New Idea, for their wedding. Lleyton and Bec are big news in Australia and their faces on a cover can almost guarantee great sales for the magazine.

I still think that’s gross. Though, funny enough, the first time I read the headline, I thought it said he sold his baby…

Hmmm..1 million bucks doesn’t seem like enough to have your life, and that of your baby, invaded for a whole year.
