Penny and Rod opt for water birth
Model Penny Lancaster has decided to have a water birth when she delivers her first child with aging rocker Rod Stewart. Rod told Tonight Show host Jay Leno that he plans on being active during the birth of his seventh child, "She’s gonna have a water birth, which is in a great big tub … And I have to get in there with her – that’s gonna be the funny thing – and hold her from behind."
Rod explains the reason for their choice, "The idea behind this is the baby’s in water for so long it’s less terrible for the baby if it comes out in water." Experienced father Rod is already preparing Penny for a tough birth, "She may change her mind, ’cause it must be a scary thing to go through, having a baby."

FANTASTIC!!! It’s nice to see a celebrity couple opting for a natural birth! I wish them the best of luck, I think she’ll be happy with her decision! Way to go guys
