Eminem and Ex Kim Mathers Remarry

Rap star Eminem (nee Marshall Bruce Mathers) and his ex-wife and high school sweetheart, Kim Mathers, remarried Saturday.

"I can confirm that they were married this evening," Dennis Dennehy, a spokesman for Eminem’s label, Interscope Records, said.

The  couple arrived in a white limousine  at the Meadow Brook Hall, a 110-room mansion.  It has not been clarified if this was the locale of the ceremony or reception.

The reception dinner included lobster tails and filet mignon, with music provided by a New York DJ named Lord Sear. In attendance were many of the rap industry’s elite, including rapper Proof (nee Deshaun Holton) of Eminem’s rap group D12, who served as best man.

"Family and close friends were in attendance, including members of D12, 50 Cent, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit," Dennehy said.

Eminem announced a month ago that he and Kim, who divorced in 2001, had reunited and would remarry.  Kim applied for a marriage certificate which gave the couple little more than 30 days to have a ceremony.

The couple, who have one daughter together, plan to honeymoon later on this year.
