Monaco’s Princess Caroline pregnant with 5th child…?

Princess_caroline_gallery_22 Update: Our French contributor Julie assures us that this is untrue – the video is six years old, from her pregnancy with her last daughter!

Princess Caroline of Monaco, 49, is reportedly pregnant with her 5th child. Caroline has been spoted sporting a baby bump-you can view a video here. Caroline had three children, with her second husband Stefano Casiraghi; Andrea is 21, Charlotte, 19 and Pierre, 18, and one daughter, Alexandra, 6, with her current husband Prince Ernst August of Hanover.

Caroline is also a celebrity baby, being the daughter of famous actress Grace Kelly and Prince Rainer III of Monaco.

I really hope it’s not true. For heaven’s sake, this woman is smoking and drinking and nearly fifty years old, another pregnancy wouldn’t be the smartest idea…

  2. annie Says:

That’s rude. I really doubt this one, but if it’s true I think it’s great. Worse people have had children in worse situations. And if someone wants to have a baby it’s their right no matter how old they are.

  3. sfl Says:

You think my comment is rude? Well, let me tell you, I could have been a lot ruder…
My opinion about the lifestyle of this family and the way they are raising their children is not necessarily the best but I’m aware that this is not the right place for this kind of discussion.

  4. Kresta Says:

I have to agree that 49 is too old to be having a baby. I have a friend who had a baby at 50, 15 years after her last child was born. She gets very tired and finds it hard even though her husband is a great help, she doesn’t have the energy to cope well. Celebrities have lots of money and can afford to hire nannies and housekeepers which most people can’t afford.

  5. Shannon Says:

Even if we don’t believe that it is the best thing for her to be having a child, it is a child, a child that will be most certainly loved and cared for, whether it be by nannies or its parents.
I think i should also add, that how do we really know about their lifestyle and habits-when we find it all out through the media, which we know can exaggerate in alot of circumstances.
Please, remember that we should keep the comments positive :-) !!!

  6. Marie Says:

I think it’s great that they are expecting. I will say that a child at that age is just really hard on the body. At an older age, isn’t that a high risk pregnancy? I hope all goes well. Good Lord, that woman is beautiful.

  7. Nancie Says:

How dare any one of us decide when and where it is appropriate to have a child. If they’re able to have a child than God be with them and their children now and always. Who appointed anyone out there, God? Mind your own affairs and let them get on with theirs!
