Lyrics that inspired the naming of Moses Martin
Moses by Coldplay was written in 2003 for new daddy Chris Martin’s then-girlfriend, now-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. The song apparently inspired the naming of their new child, a son, Moses Martin.
The live version of the song starts with "This is called Moses. This is a new song about falling in love with the most beautiful woman in the world."

I was wondering the same thing? Maybe Bruce after her dad? I don’t particularly like the name Moses, but if it’s true, it’s sweet that they named him after that song. Maybe the name will grow on me, Apple has…lol

I had heard Moses Bruce Anthony Martin (Bruce for her dad, Anthony for his) which would be sweet, but that’s just a rumor, not confirmed.
