"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Babymooning with a celeb name twist

Westin_logo_1 Choosing a baby name can be one of the more difficult decisions expectant parents have to make. Should they stick with classics such as Elizabeth and Michael or more trendy ones like Apple and Maddox? The Westin New York at Times Square is helping mom- and dads-to-be to pick the perfect name with a Baby Naming Weekend package. The babymoon (instead of honeymoon) escape includes a list of popular names based on NYC neighborhoods and a $100 gift certificate for baby’s first gift in a little blue box from New York’s most famous jewelry store. Since this decision can be stressful one, parents will enjoy accommodations in a Spa Inspired Guestroom complete with a Kinjoy massage chair. Valid through December 30, 2006, the Baby Naming Weekend package starts at $559 for the first night, and $459 each additional night, double occupancy.* When booking, please ask for rate plan BABYMOON.

Before everyone gets riled up about the price, I’d like to point out that the going rate for a nice (not even luxury) hotel in midtown Manhattan is around $350 per night so with the extras they include, this is not over the top expensive.  I used to book my bosses at hotels like the Westin and it was not uncommon to pay $369 per weeknight.

WestinbedThe Westin New York at Times Square arms future moms and dads with a list of the most popular baby names in NYC grouped by neighborhood as featured on http://newyork.urbanbaby.com/expecting. The package includes a map of the Big Apple so parents can explore each section of the city and determine which fits their style. The hip and trendy may be inspired by SoHo and lean towards common downtown names, Kaye and Jade. Those who prefer more classic names may opt for the common Upper East Side names, Carson and Grace (like Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s daughter). Once settled on a name, guests can head to midtown and use the gift certificate to buy an engraved silver spoon or rattle.

For reservations, call 1-888-627-7149. For information on Westin New York at Times Square, visit www.westinny.com.

Did you go on a babymoon? My husband and I went on one last vacation (to Curacao) before I got pregnant but then once I was pregnant, we went away for a long weekend to a B&B in Buck’s County, an area in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that is just a two hour drive from NYC.

My husband and I went on a babymoon to Cancun, Mexico when I was 5 months pregnant (six years ago)! It was our first time there and it was awesome. At times I felt like a whale next to the girls in bikinis but it was so nice relaxing on the beach or by the pool. One thing I wouldn’t recommend — going on a wave runner in choppy water. It was way too bumpy, probably shouldn’t have done that but all was well!

We were supposed to go on one this month. My husband suggested it many times, and I kept demuring on account of finances. Now I’m wondering what the hell I was thinking. The money we can earn back into savings; the time we can never get back!

yes, yes, yes! one for each baby.

My husband and I went on two babymoon vacations – before the arrival of each of our daughters. The first was to Boston and the second to Cape May, NJ. We highly recommend a babymoon to all expecting couples. As a previous poster stated, you can never get that “pre-baby” time back.

My website, http://www.babymoonguide.com has lots of information about babymoon vacation packages.
