It’s Official: Britney is Pregnant!

In the issue hitting stands this week, US Weekly confirms what many of us have suspected all along: Britney Spears IS, in fact, expecting her second child with husband Kevin Federline. (Son Sean Preston was born in September 2005.) The magazine reports that the pop star was so elated that she "cried her eyeballs out," but waited until the Easter holiday to reveal the news to her family and friends.
US Weekly’s website features more details on the story, as well as this picture of Britney poolside in Las Vegas, concealing her "serious bump" in a loose, strapless dress, and toting Sean, himself outfitted in cute swim trunks.

I think this girl has a plan and she’s sticking to it. I laughed a few years ago when she said she wanted to get married young and have a couple of kids and be a young mom. I’m happy she’s following her heart.

Is this for sure confirmed? I checked her website and there’s no announcement. I also checked People Magazine and there’s nothing on their site. I know she has a pretty good relationship with People Magazine and figured she might give them the first official confirmation. I’m still skeptical, only because these pregnancy rumors have been around for a few months. Maybe she really is and has just tried to keep it quiet for as long as possible?

Aw she’ll be okay, I just hope she can take care of herself enough for this one. I wonder how she’ll deliver though? Another c-section, or will she be inspired to go v-back a’la the “Britney Statue”? (jk lol!)

How can you say it’s official when her reps haven’t even confirmed it? I’ll believe it when they confirm it. These Britney pregnancy rumors are getting old. We need some concrete evidence or a confirmation

I dunno?! I still think Britney is just,um, in less than perfect shape. I second the belief that if Britney was going to announce a pregnancy she’d do it through People. In my opinion, US Weekly is a tabloid that tries to mascarade as a legitimate magazine, so I take anything they write with a grain of salt.
If I recall correctly SP has always had rosy cheeks and as far as a hat that’s really a personal choice, My pediatrician told my that as long I make sure I also cover her ears and neck with sunscreen a hat is purely ornamental, but then my DD has a full head of hair where SP looks to be bald so who knows?

Sh my pediatrician has told me the same thing about hats. My first child had so much hair it didn’t make much of a difference I did on the thinner spots put sunscreen on her scalp which of course led to a fun bath of trying to scrub it out! I can imagine those who didn’t know it was sunscreen more than likely thought I never bathed my child due to the overly greasy hair!! My second child was blonde and almost bald till he was over 2 and still has thin hair so I coat his head in sunscreen too…He also gets very hot and gets very red cheeks like SP. I’m sure he is just hot. If he was burnt his nose and forhead would also be showing signs of sun. Not to mention at least some of his arms unless he was running around in long sleeved which I’m sure isn’t the case giving Britney’s love for barely any clothing j/k. My youngest has yet to go through sunscreen. His last visit the Ped. told us good luck with a hat. She said it is a lost cause and to save our money. Sure enough I have been trying to put them on him for our daily walks the past two weeks and he takes them right off…he is 8 months old!

I’m just going with it right now, since E! and Us Weekly reported it. I just don’t understand the need for all this. I’ll feel sorry for the next baby. *shakes head*

I hope the baby is coated in sunscreen, but she needs to at least try a hat, or put some baby sunglasses on him to keep it out of his eyes.
if they are pregnant, I wish them well, but I wish they’d grow up more.

Until I see it confirmed in People or on the news, I don’t think I believe it. If its true, like I said before, I hope she has a great pregnancy. But, I just can’t believe til I see it in a legitmate publication like People. I did see something on msnbc, but they were quoting the US Weekly story, so who knows.

It can’t be a rumour. I saw a news article about it on MSNBC.com—-with all the other more newsworthy events going on around the world, MSNBC chose to let everyone know that Britney is pregnant again. Hooray…hmm!!

MSNBC has only posted that their have been “reports” that Britney is pregnant. Basically, they are just passing along the rumor to the few isolated souls who haven’t already heard.

Okay NOW it official! Access Hollywood “exclusively” reports that Britney is 5 monthes pregnant! Wow, SP and his little baby bro/sis will be Irish twins. Well if she can handle two children under 2..more power to her!

I believe that’s the cutest picture I’ve seen yet, of little Sean Preston. But, his little rosy cheeks need some sunscreen!
