Kate Garraway brings daughter onto show

British television presenter for GMTV Kate Garraway brought her new daughter, Darcey onto the program this past Wednesday. The little girl has a whole heap of hair and actively opened her eyes for the audience, as well as giving a yawn or two. Kate spoke of her joy at becoming a mother; "it is so lovely, I am enjoying every minute."

Although she admitted that motherhood has been hard work she mentioned the blessing of having a child later in life, saying that she "thinks it helps being an older mum, because you think to yourself I am going to make the most of this.”

Kate is married to Derek Draper who she said is "absolutely loving" being a Daddy to adorable Darcey.

Kate said that Darcey wakes "like an alarm clock" at 6.55am, coincidentally the time when Kate is usually about to have the adrenaline rush of going on air to present her show.
