Matt Damon prepares for his daughter’s birth
In just a few weeks, Matt Damon and his wife Luciana will welcome their first child together (a girl) – and Matt says that he believes that working to create a better world is one of the best things he can give her.
"The world I leave to my daughter is going to be affected by what I do, or what I don’t do. The best way to honor and love her is to do what I can, here and now."
He also said that his daughter and good friend Ben Affleck’s daughter Violet (with wife Jennifer Garner) could be playmates, if they live in the same city!
When asked if his stepdaughter Alexia, 8, is looking forward to having a baby sister, Matt said that she definitely was and "if it was a boy it would have been a big problem."

I think it’s neat that he’s becoming a dad, and that his daughter and Ben Affleck’s daughter will be so close in age. I bet her name will be something traditionally Celtic.

I don’t know why, but it seems like they have been expecting this baby forever.

I’m excited to see what they produce–she is dark and exotic and he is pale w/ light eyes. Should make for a beautiful little girl!
