"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

New People magazine special issue focused on Celebrity Babies

Tags: News

People_logo_newWords cannot describe how excited (and disappointed) I am that People magazine is introducing a new "Celebrity Babies" special issue of its magazine.  Happy because well, I love celebrity babies, and disappointed because I want to publish a magazine on this topic myself.

Publisher Paul Caine told WWD, "It’s not that babies are a trend, because people are always having babies, but there’s just so much attention right now against it," he said. People magazine editor Martha Nelson came up with the concept only 5 weeks ago after noticing that issues of the magazine with celebrity newborns sold more issues.

Duh.  I could have told you celebrity babies were hot two and a half years ago.  Oh wait, I did when I created this blog.  Oh well, traditional media is slow to catch on once again.

You can look for the special to be available starting June 8.

I’m sorry Danielle that really sucks.

Danielle, you MUST attempt to get a celeb babies magazine off the ground! It would be HUGE! =)

Anyway, thanks for the alert – I will definitely be purchasing it. =)

Me too…sounds like it will be a great edition!

is it just me or have celebrity babies blown up in the last 5-6 years. Back when I was growing up in the 90’s the focus wasn’t on celeb parents and their kids it was more about movies and production….I always wonder why the baby boom is so important in today’s world?

Hey it’s just one issue isn’t it, so don’t get too worked up. If People decided to publish a whole new magazine dedicated to celebrity babies, then maybe you can get in on a piece of that.

I have no idea if you’ve ever tried submitting any articles to People or any other publication, but I suppose you could try.

Submitting this blog as your body of work might be interesting, but I don’t know how some of the other publications/websites/etc. would take it since 90% of the content here is just quoting celeb incidences & articles already found on other sites, publications, etc.

I do know it would take a lot of money to publish a physical magazine, but I suppose you could start small if you find any investors or anything.
