Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale welcome a son!
Update: It’s a boy! Kingston James McGregor was born just before 1 pm this afternoon by cesarean section in Los Angeles, with a full head of hair! He weighed in at 7 1/2 lbs. Gwen and Gavin apparently plan to call him "King." The name is said to have been chosen to honor both Gavin’s English heritage and Gwen’s love of Jamaican culture. McGregor, the second middle name, is also Gavin’s middle name as well.

While the NY Daily News reports that Gwen was going to be induced today, Us Weekly says Gwen (in her red lipstick of course!) and Gavin Rossdale arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles this morning and have a cesarean section planned for noon, PST. Since it’s just after 3 pm on the east coast, the baby may have already made its arrival! More news to come as we receive it.

According to a statement on nodoubt.com, the baby’s name is Kingston James McGregor Rossdale and he weighed 7.5 lbs.

Yeah congrats Gwen and Gavin a wonder baby boy..A friend of mine had her baby this morning also a little boy 7lbs 10 oz his name is Charlie Ian. I will have to let her know.

I love the regal name they chose for him! We saw Gavin open for U2 in Miami this past Nov.. Very cool guy!

I’ve been a huge fan of both of them for probably over 10 years and I’m so happy for them! I LOVE GAVIN! hehe. I can’t see Gwen with a boy. Ohwell! Cool name.

I read in Us Weekly that Gwen wants to give Kingston a baby sister to play with!
I hope she has another child soon. I’d love to see her have a daughter. I hope she does.
