From what I’ve heard about the US Healthcare system, the US is very good with treating rare & severe diseases and disorders (hence why most conjoined twins, cancer patients, or people with physical deformities come to the US for treatment) however they’re aren’t the best when it comes to regular care of people they aren’t the best (which is why the US ranks so high in obesity rates, and even higher infant mortality rates than some European and Asian countries.)

As far as Angelina having a c-section, anything is possible since I would imagine the Namibian hospital she went to was probably pretty elite, and we all know she and Brad have the money to pay for a c-section if one was needed.

My cousin’s name is Shiloh, and she is a girl. She is 18 years old. I am really used to the name and dont think much of it, except I still think of the Shilo Inn LOL. Congratulations to them!!

Don’t you have to pay for c-sections in Canada? What about the US? They charge you through the roof for them in Australia. It’s considered major surgery and requires a surgeon so i believe it costs about $AUSD4000.

You can have a tummy tuck at the same time that you have a c-section i believe – isn’t that what Victoria Beckham did and there were also rumors that Britney had one after Sean – re: her tummy one month after sean was born when she was out in that red and yellow outfit.

Congrats !! The name Shiloh strikes me as something you’d name your pet, but when paired with Nouvel, it sounds kind of cool. I am glad that it was a team effort to name the baby

As for C-sections, everyone now is opting for them.Not only celebrities.Everyone.I live in Canada, and they are now thinking of making people pay to have C-sections,because so many people are getting them.

And as far as the tummy tuck rumour goes,i doubt it.That would be a bit too much at the same time wouldn’t it ? Most p.S. tell you not to get to much done on the same day because of complications.

But hey, this is hollywood.And if Paris Hilton goes in to get lipo on her tummy (because she is embarrassed that people are starting pregnancy rumours), then I am sure most of those mums might be.

yeah that was the time in Nambia. it had said she was going to be doing a water birth and that there were no complications, medical or other. and it had said that everything went according their plan.

I’m not saying their daughter won’t be beautiful but I have seen two beautiful parents have kids that weren’t that beautiful. They either didn’t look much like them or it was the mixture of the two and something didn’t come out right. I’m sure she will be, though.

That’s a good point momof2, perhaps she did have a natural birth after all? Then again, maybe they had it scheduled for the middle of the night to throw off the press?

I wish they would let us know a little more. I understand their desire for privacy, but I don’t see why it’s a big deal to give us some of the details like the weight, length, time, delivery type, etc. *shrugs shoulders*
