Angelina and Brad donate $300k to Namibian babies
The local government announced that Namibia’s most famous visitors, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, have donated $300,000 to help other babies born there. In a statement released by the new parents, they said, "We want to contribute to Namibia and the people who have been so gracious to us at this time."
According to Leon Jooste, Namibia’s Deputy Environment and Tourism Minister, the money will be spent improving maternity wards at state hospitals in in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, where the couple and their brood have been staying. "The couple is thoroughly overjoyed by the event and have expressed their happiness to be able to share this experience in Namibia," the government statement adds.
Brad and Angelina have also promised $15,000 to go to a school and a community center in Swakopmund.

What an awesome gesture. Lovely.
Now they can sell pics of Shiloh for millions and do even more good!
I know they don’t have to, but I would LOVE to see pics of them all together and I bet they would fetch a pretty penny!

awww…that’s a nice gesture on their parts. The Namibian government and its people have been very good to the Jolie-Pitts and I hope that Brad and Angie’s presence has helped to put the county on the map, so to speak. I’m embarrassed to admit that I have only recently (since the arrival of the Jolie-Pitts) been able to find Namibia on a map. *runs & hides*
