"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

NY Times says pregnant women have Angelina Jolie to thank for their style

Tags: Celeb Style

Isabella_oliver Maternity fashion has been getting hipper and hipper every year with traditional designers getting in on the  belly bump action.  In today’s New York Times article, "Showing? It’s Time to Show Off," they credit Angelina Jolie with making pregnancy a fashion statement.  However, this past year has been the year of the pregnant A-listers so Angelina can’t take all the credit.  Witness the fashionable bump parade of Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani, Kate/Katie Holmes, Rachel Weisz, Brooke Shields, and Denise Richards.

The days of the tented maternity blouse are not gone yet but pregnant women now have more options.  Mass merchandised maternity brands now include the very popular Mother’s Work franchise which ranges from the budget-conscious Motherhood Maternity to Mimi Maternity to the top of the line Pea in the Pod, Kohl’s Oh Baby! line, Sears’ Two Hearts, Target’s lower-priced Liz Lange lineJC Penney’s, Mervyn’s, the Gap, Old Navy and H&M

Jennifer2__3detail As far as maternity-only designers, it’s not just ground-breaker Liz Lange anymore. Cadeau has two stores in NYC and LA and is also available at Barneys New York, Veronique, Pickles & Ice Cream and Shop GirlNaissance on Melrose (aka NOM) is one of the hippest maternity boutiques in Los Angeles. Due Maternity has four retail boutiques and a great e-store. Isabella Oliver, a British company, offers jersey knit maternity fashion that can be worn into the fourth trimester and beyond.  Childish Clothing, created by Skye Hoppus, a former MTV executive married to Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus and frequently modeled by Shanna Moakler, wife of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, is a great alternative for fashionistas who can’t let go of their ultra-low rise jeans.

Designers like Diane Von Furstenberg, Lilly Pulitizer, Juicy Couture, Theory, Vince and Chaiken now offer maternity fashion so stylish that they catch the eye of even non-pregnant women.  Ladies with high end department store charge cards can now max out their credit limit at Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom’s online maternity collections.

Honestly, Angelina Jolie’s style doesn’t exist at all. What kind of style is wearing black pants and black dresses all over?I don’t think she is stylish at all, but who cares! She is beautiful anyway. I also thing Jennifer Gardner’s style is very sloppy (if you call that a style). I don’t like Kate Holmes’s neither.
I think Heidi Klum looked very good pregnant, as well as Gwen Stefani (this one is too sofisticated for my taste though) On my list Heidi Klum is the first.

geez, all Angelina Jolie was wearing black during her pregnancy and I do wonder if she did it to make her stomach look smaller!

I have to agree with the above posts. Angelina didn’t appear to have any maternity fashion style at all. In most photos she wore black t-shirts, dresses and pants which were plain. She looked comfortable but not stylish. I think the day before she had Shiloh, she wore a white dress at the beach. It was just a plain matenrity dress that looked like a tent. Maybe we are missing something.
