"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Celeb shops

CalabasaslocCeleb-owned clubs and restaurants are so passé! The hot new business for celebrity moms to own is boutiques. Three examples are actress Phoebe Cates Kline’s Blue Tree, located on New York City’s Upper East Side, Lisa Rinna’s Belle Gray and TLC’s Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins’ Chase’s Closet in Houston, TX.

Phoebe Cates Kline’s boutique, Blue Tree, sells baby and children’s gifts and clothes up to size 16 as well as women and men’s clothes and jewelry. Some of the lines the store carries are Eloise & Etienne coats, Claude tees, and Amber Hagen cashmere sweaters and blankets.

Lisa Rinna opened Belle Gray and its relatively new e-store because she wanted to "share the latest fashion trends that I find exciting with people all over the world." The shop, which is named for Lisa and husband Harry Hamlin’s daughters Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle, was designed to feel like a “quaint, cozy house with this great walk-in closet” has a “girls day out” atmosphere with music, flowers, cookies and drinks.

While hot brands like Juicy Couture, Citizens of Humanity jeans, Rebecca Taylor and Dianne Von Furstenberg are available at Belle Gray, Lisa strives to introduce the newest, freshest trends like Joe Bush’s vintage denim gauchos and skirts, Krista Allen’s t-shirt line Sex Brand, True Religion and Paige jeans, two of the hottest jean lines out there today. They also carry their own line of designer sweats, designer tanks tops and high fashion tees when you’re in the mood for something more casual.

VondutchonesieNamed for the four year old daughter of the TLC member, Chase’s Closet sells brands that you might find in Chase’s own closet. Products that are exclusive to the store or to shops in the south include Dolce & Gabana Baby, New Skool, Von Dutch Baby, and Moschino Kids.

Celebrities also shop at these celeb-owned boutiques. Michelle Branch’s daughter Owen was gifted with Chase’s Closet custom rock ‘n roll tee shirts and counts among its clientele Diane Sawyer, Julia Roberts, Mary-Louise Parker, Britney Spears, Diane Sawyer, Kelly Ripa, Jada Pinkett Smith, Solange Knowles, and Elizabeth Hurley.

These shops are very nice. I also like all the shops for babies and children on Etsy. It has a variety of handmade items for children. They are unique.
