What a load of crap.

This tabloid is obviously making things up. They lost all credibility in this little story when they referred to Shiloh as the Pitts’ first grandchild.

They have several grandchildren already from their son and daughter, both younger than Brad.

My sister-in-law was the same way with my niece – nothing pink or frilly or ‘girly’. Now that my niece has reached the wisened age of five it turns out that she PREFERS girly clothes! LOL It just goes to show that taste in clothing is so very personal.

So long as the child is choosing clothing that is season-appropriate, age-appropriate, in good repair, and discrete (what’s that? LOL), does it really matter whether or not it’s pink and frilly?

Give me a break. What a ridiculous story. I bet Angelina hears these things and laughs about the stories that are made up about her. They really must have nothing to talk about. Even if Angelina didn’t want to dress Shiloh or Zahara in pink frilly clothes, I highly doubt she would tell Brad’s mum that she won’t use her gifts. She doesn’t seem like a rude person. What the heck.

I can see it now: Angelina, Shiloh, Zahara and Maddox wearing nothing but black clothes!

I can understand her feeling it unnecessary to treat Shiloh like a doll. I can see where she’s coming from, I’ve always liked my son in simpler preppier outfis while my mother in law loves to buy these babyish outfits with animals all over them. I just recently broke the mold a little and allowed my son to get some Disney Cars sandals that light up when he walks, and an Elmo t-shirt at Sesame Place. Huge steps for me, but he’s becoming his own person now and knows what he likes. Whether this is true or not, I understand why Ang wouldn’t wanna dress her that way and I understand why the in laws would have hurt feelings.

My daughter was never the frilly dress type of girl. She does have a lot of pink things but she was always more of a pants/shorts & shirt girl. When she does wear a dress it was always something simple. She has really sensitive skin and can only wear 100% cotton so it works out well since all the frilly stuff is polyester and such.

It sounds like typical English tabloid BS to me. But on the topic of unwanted clothing gifts? I always take a picture of my daughter in whatever outfit she has been sent and then email/post the picture to the sender. Even if she never wears it again they still know how she looked in it (and probably thought she looked gorgeous) so I figure everyone is happy.

If think The Sun is a bad newspaper, ok it’s not really a newspaper, it’s a tabloid, they like to say things that aren’t really true, but anyway, if it’s true, it’s their problem, although I think there’s nothing bad in a girl dressing pink clothes. But, I really don’t believe in what that newspaper says!

If this is true (which I doubt), I don’t blame her one bit. If I ever have a daughter, she won’t be in frilly dresses either. They look so uncomfortable to me. We received several outfits at my baby shower for my son that we never used because I simply didn’t care for them. I ended up donating them to a crisis pregnancy center. There’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own taste and preferences.

I just for some reason do not see Angelina Jolie, the person that advocates for orphaned children and travels all over the world to help out with such children, being ungrateful for any gift given. She has most likely seen the depths and sadness to poverty and I am sure that she would remember that she should be thankful that her daughter has the luxury of those clothes whether she likes them or not.
