Another baby girl for the Daily Show
Daily Show correspondent Rob Corddry is a proud new father today. His wife Sandra gave birth to the couple’s first child at 8:05 this morning in New York City. Daughter Sloane Sullivan weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 oz. No word on a length. Dad says Sloane is "showing signs of early genius" and is "happy, healthy, and hungry."
This is the third Daily Show baby girl born this year, with Jon Stewart welcoming daughter Maggie Rose in February, and Samantha Bee welcoming Piper in January. Also, former correspondent Stephen Colbert welcomed his son Stephen Jr, who just happens to be an eagle, at the San Francisco Zoo, on April 17th.

Thank you for not forgetting Stephen Jr. For some reason his birth is simply just not viewed as equal to the others. Very sad America, very sad! Little Stephen is truly an amazing gift and IMHO the greatest edition to Comedy Central baby boom.

wow sloane sullivan is such a gorgeous name for a little girl. Such a perfect name for a princess. Bravo.

I love the name Sloane for a girl! I would have gone with a more feminine middle name than Sullivan, though. I’m so happy for Rob and his wife & the new uncle. Rob and his brother are both hilarious.

I like Sloan as well; very Ferris Buellers Day Off chique. Piper is cute too. Piper Perabo put that name on the map.

Congratulations to the couple! I love his reports on the daily show and think the name is great – very distinctive, but not trendy.
