Luxembourg celebrates Royal Silver Wedding

The Grand Dukes of Luxembourg, Henri and Maria Teresa, are celebrating their silver wedding celebration with the company of royal representatives from all around the world. Their children, Princes Guillaume, Felix, Louis, Alexandra and Sebastien, were all present at the big celebration, which took place yesterday and is finishing today with a gala banquet.

Other royals in attendance are according to the official webpage of the government of Luxembourg: Phillip and Mathilde of Belgium, Willem Alexander and Maxima of the Netherlands, Felipe and Letizia of Spain, Frederik and Mary of Denmark, Rosario Nadal and Prince Kyril of Bulgaria, the King and Queen of Sweden, Prince Haakon of Norway (Mette Marit is not attending due to the event not having enough breaks when she can nurse Prince Sverre Magnus). Tessy Anthony, girlfriend of Louis and mother of Prince Gabriel, is not officially invited.
The program includes an inauguration of Modern Art Groothertog Jean with the presence of royal guests, a picnic with them and a gala dinner and ball at 8:30 pm today.

Did anyone else notice that Princess Kalina of Bulgaria only has one eyebrow and some interesting choices in makeup?

Well spotted Sandy! I can’t believe that a Princess can get away with going around looking like that, although I suppose in some countries it must be acceptable! They’d never get away with it here in Britain, although I suppose there a bit more stuffy here than in the rest of Europe!
