Katie ‘Jordan’ Price suffers miscarriage
Katie ‘Jordan’ Price, the British glamour model, and her husband Peter Andre have lost the baby they were 3 1/2 months along with. The two are "devastated" by the news, and want to keep it private but allowed their rep to say this: "They just want to deal with it on their own and they are both devastated…We are trying to give them all the love and support they need. It is not something they want me to go into at all. They want it to be kept a very private matter."
Jordan and Peter raise two sons – Harvey, 4, and Junior, 13 months.

I’ve just read about this in the paper. And i cant believe a staff member at the hospital would sell this story. They should of been allowed the privacy to tell “the world” when, AND IF, they wanted too. Its a disgrace.

Oh that is terribly sad. I didn’t know she was pregnant again. Hopefully they’ll be able to hve another baby soon.
I think the only reason why news of Jordan’s miscarriage was leaked to the press so soon is because they’re trying to paint a bad picture of her, esp. after how her pregnancy with Harvey went five years ago.
Apparently back then Jordan partied with the best of ‘em, (a’la Paris, Lindsey, and more like Tara Reid) and didn’t stop even when she fell pregnant from her one-time boyfriend a UK footballer star. Yeah back then the paps caught Jordan tripping out of cabs falling down drunk and 8 months pregnant?!
Sadly (and not surprisingly) Harvey was born with disabilities including blindness, possible prematurity, etc. At the time I think she claimed her son had inherited blindness, however given the way she treated herself & her unborn son during that pregnancy, inheritance might not have been the only factor.
Since then Katie/Jordan had her son Junior with her husband Peter Andre, and as far as I know he’s okay.
Hopefully, and most likely Jordan’s latest miscarriage was a natural fluke, and not a repeat of her past.

She was pictured ‘out’ during her first pregnancy but never drunk. Surely she shouldn’t have been confined to the house?
Harvey (her first son) has a congenital sight defect-it could happen to anyone of us. He also has a learning disability and growth problems, which doctors have gone on the record to say are not at all related to drinking.
Junior’s (her second son) health is fine. She doesn’t even drink very often anymore-at any time-because her husband doesn’t really like it. I hope she gets pregnant again when she feels better. She says they’d like a little girl called Pink or Princess!
I’d never normally reply to something like this but i think she gets a terrible press considering all she’s been through

I’m familiar with Jordan & her ways. I personally know how it feels to have a miscarry and i’m sure many other women do to. My heart goes out to her and her family..

My heart goes out to them. I wish more celebrities would step forward and speak about their pregnancy loss/infertility. I thought the post a few weeks ago about that was very enlightening. I think we read about other people’s lives and think, “oh, they have it so easy. Everything happens easily for them.” And then when you get this balance, you realize that we’re all humans…

Wait! She was pregnant? How shocking that she didnt say anything about it. Well a miscarriage is something very hard to go through so even though I am not a big fan of her, nobody deserves that and I hope she copes with it well.

i have never posted before – here goes. i was really sad to hear about the loss of katie and peter’s baby. they seem committed loving parents particularly to a little boy – harvey, with real problems both physical and social. they never hide him away and seem rightly proud of him. it is also wonderful the way peter has taken on the role as his father. i hope they find some comfort in each other and their boys.

to carly and posh_fan: she didnt miscarry Dane Bowers child,she aborted it,although for good reasons(in her mind)and even though she still went through a very tough and emotional time i just wanted to point out that it wasnt a miscarraige.My heart goes out to her during this terrible time and hopefully they can be left to grieve in private.

Oh okay Sarah, that’s what I wondered. I just remembered reading about Jordan’s antics in The Sun online, and I do remember seeing a photograph or two of her getting out of a cab (or more falling out of a cab) at a club looking like a cross between Tara Reid and Britney Spears a’la the Matt Lauer interview.
The caption and accompanying story had claimed that she was “drunk and 8 months pregnant” and I’d thought if that was true then she was definitely playing with fire with her then-unborn child’s health. Then with the fact that Harvey was born with disabilities…it as too easy to jump to the conclusion that they might not have been all congenial. It’s good though that the doctors have proved otherwise, and that Jordan’s mostly cleaned up her image so that she’s not in situations as much in which people can jump to the conclusion that she’s hard partying while pregnant or anything like that.

My heart definitely goes out to them. And she did not confirm her pregnancy with Junior straight away either, she was about 4 months along before she finally admitted to being pregant (it was by then quite obvious!!).
I do think she gets a bad press, but I think she has brought much of it on herself. No doctor has come forward to really say what all is wrong with Harvey, or even to say it was not her fault. I have heard about the genetic eye condition, but from her rep, not any medical professionals.
Not saying that it is her fault, but the little guy has so very many health problems that I think they have sugar coated over her behaviour so she wont be completely villified in the press.
I did see a few photos where it was obvious that she had been having a really good time. No one says that she needs to stay home, but why would an 8 months pregnant woman stumble out of a nightclub at 4am?? The cinema anyone??
I just think this is really sad. She may have made some mistakes before, but she seems to be a great mum!!

Kala, I’ve read a few different articles that have quotes from the doctor stating that the problems Harvey has are not the result of her partying. I think that it’s ridiclus that people blame her for her son’s problems. At least she is raising him – UNLIKE the father who walked out on the sitation. But no one ever blames the man for not giving support or being there.
Anyways, I think it’s very sad about the misscarriage – I hope that she and Peter have the support and love they need from family and friends to help them through this.

No mommy or mommy-to-be should ever have to go through losing a child, it is heart breaking… this woman needs to remember that each and every preg. is a gift and should be treated as such. Katie and Peter need support and prayers/love right now…its time to rally ’round, the time to think about her past behavior will come…later.

That poor girl, I didnt know she was pregnant but thats really sad.
Also she never drank during her first Pregnacy with Harvey in 2001/2002 but she did party. I think this was just a case of bad press who choose to pick on people that like to go out and have a good time.
All the best Pete and Katie, good luck in the future and hopefully they have another baby soon!
