Is Meg White expecting?
Update: A CBB reader saw Meg on Robertson Blvd in LA today and says that she’s "definitely pregnant."
Originally posted July 7th: According to CBB reader Autumn, White Stripes fans around the net are discussing this picture. Why? It’s spurring rumors and much messageboard discussion that musician Meg White may be pregnant. Meg gives few interviews and little is known about her private life, so it’s possible that if she is pregnant, she may not announce the pregnancy or even the birth of her child.
Her bandmate and ex-husband, Jack White, became a first-time daddy with his current wife, model Karen Elson, in May of this year when their daughter, Scarlett Teresa, was born. He is currently touring with his band The Raconteurs, so the hiatus of the White Stripes may be a perfect time for Meg to become a mom.

I don’t know – she looks like she might be. However, in the past she had moments when she had a tummy and it did not mean anything.

She probably isn’t. It seems these days every female needs to wear a girdle or a pair of spanx. Someone is always there with a camera when they are taking a breath from sucking it in.

It looks very possible that she’s expecting. She is bustier than normal, her face looks rounder, and the stomach well could be a baby bump. Plus, the empire-waist top does nothing but enhance her stomach – most women stay away from those when they’re not preggers and just on the pudgy side.

no. it’s sort of a well known fact by now that meg and jack were married in the past and jack took meg’s last name… they claimed to be brother and sister – but they aren’t. i was on robertson on friday too – too bsd i didn’t get to see her as well.

Jack and Meg are not brother and sister, Meg White and Jack Gillis (his real name) were never married either, they just dated.
The white stripes are not so called because of Meg’s surname, they are named after a peppermint sweet you guys have in the US?
Anyway, I think Meg is pregnant, and congratulations to her!

Anyway though if Meg’s far enough along that she actually shows, then she must’ve been busy with someone while on tour back in March or so…(I wonder if she’ll get married, or just be like so many other celeb parents today, if any of this is true?)

Jack met Meg White in 1994, and they were married on September 21, 1996. Characteristically unorthodox, Jack took her last name. In July of 1997, the White Stripes made their first live appearance at the Gold Dollar in Detroit. In keeping live performances to three elements, Jack fulfilled guitar and vocal duties while she played drums.[2] They later divorced in 2000 (before becoming nationally famous) but the band survived.

Didn’t we go through this when Jack White’s baby, Scarlett Teresa White, was born? Gillis is his birth surname, White is his current legal surname.

Yeah i’m watching Conan O’Brien and the white stripes are playing right as we speak…Meg looks pregnant!!
