Marcia Cross photos and interview in TV Guide
Actress Marcia Cross, 44, whose first child with husband Tom Mahoney, 48, is due in April, talked to TV Guide about motherhood. Here are some excerpts:
-On her quick pregnancy after marriage: "Usually, it’s get married, have a honeymoon, get your pictures back, take a breath. But we’re old. For us it was, get married. Whoa! Prrr-regnant!
-On being counted out: "I was the one who was going to be the godmother or the aunt. I think everybody’d given up on me. And now this! Half a year later and I’m married and knocked up! It’s sort of a miracle to me."
- On handling motherhood: "I worry about things like how I’m going to juggle it all, but mostly I can’t believe my lucky life. Every day is a miracle now. [Being pregnant] is something I waited so long for and really never thought would come. I was a cynical person. But I feel lighter than ever – and happier. And, hey, so what if my pants don’t fit?"
Also, in the course of the article, Marcia’s rep denies that she is expecting twins. However, we’ve been told that Us Weekly stands by their story.

I don’t buy it’s twins only bc Marcia’s been on several talk shows lately and never has slipped about it being twins and refers to it as the “baby” and not as “babies”….maybe she wants it kept private but I don’t always believe US who “sticks by their story” for weren’t they the one’s who both proclaimed baby bragelina and tomkat were both boys!!

-Marcia is showing a bit for 3 1/2 monts along, which is why we’re still wondering if it’s twins. Who knows though, we’ll find out in April!

actually I just saw a commercial for ELLEN (she’ll be on tom.) and it says she’s expecting twins and Ellen’s got twice the surprise for the mom to be…..so maybe it’s true

Has it not been confirmed that she is carrying twins? Where did the twin story come from? I was under the assumption that it was already confirmed!! I need to get back in the loop after vacation

Marcia’s rep comfirmed that Marcia was having twins to E! News on Thursday, so I guess we can stop fighting over this whole twins thing.

I think pregnancy looks very good on her. I can’t wait to see more pics as she gets further along!
