Sutton Federline may not in fact be Sutton Federline!
Kevin Federline, who will appear on CSI tonight and releases his debut album, Playing with Fire, on Halloween, talked with DJs from a Seattle radio station this morning, and insinuated that things may not be as they think we are with Spears-Federline collaboration #2. The transcript:
DJ: There’s rumors that Sutton is not a boy. Have you heard that? (CBB notes: Jamie Lynn Spears did confirm that she had a new nephew.)
Kevin: Only from my friends, cause I haven’t told them so I haven’t told them anything and my wife hasn’t spoken to anybody about anything, so…
DJ: Cause word has it that she’ll reveal the news the week your cd drops.
Kevin: Um, I don’t know, that might be all rumors too.
DJ: Isn’t that strange when you hear that, when you have a child and people tell you the sex is a different one.
Kevin: Yeah it’s crazy. Well it’s even crazier when people are telling me my child’s name.
DJ: Oh so Sutton is not the baby’s name—
Kevin: Oh yeah there you go.

I thought that it was a girl when Ellen gave him the pink jacket on her show I also thought he looked a little strange at her when she gave it like Hey you arent supposed to be telling that. I dont know just all seems a little strange

LOL I love this. I hope they ARE playing head games with the media, that would be classic. Watch it’s really a girl named Alexandra or something, and all along everyone’s been totally off. Jamie Lynn could have been fudging us all too.

Does anyone remember Britney does have a brother. It could be that his g/f had a baby, and it was a boy (JL saying new nephew).
But I think it would be great it she was to come out and show the world the baby, and it be a girl!

too many people ran with the it’s a boy and it’s name is sutton story so I am buying that it’s all true bc come on Kevin doesn’t seem like he’s got a very good IQ when he speaks in public. I bet he’s just trying to full everyone and make it seem like they got it “wrong” when infact the media is right.

Posh, Good insight…After all that media attn. the Cruise clan got, The Spears/Federline clan may be looking to gain from this Baby thing also, trying to make it look more mysterious??? But whatever the Sex, Hope the baby is healthy!!

I don´t think they play with the media. They just didn´t tell them something until now. And the people just believed all the rumors that are around. Maybe they have been true or not..

Personally I don’t care to know. I would rather know what Christian Bale’s daughter’s name is. I’m not a fan of Kevin’s or Britney’s and they use their children for publicity. Of course that’s only my opinion.

Good for them! At least this gives them some privacy with their new child! I cannot imagine how annoying it would be to have so many people wanting to see your newborn baby when all you want is to recover and bond with the child. I hope they are playing everyone and the pictures show a beautiful baby girl.

I think that it is a boy..but the name may be different..Remember last year everyone thought that Sean Preston’s name was like Preston Michael or something..

I agree with Yonnie, there was confusion for awhile over what Sean Preston’s name was, and we still don’t really know what the family calls him. And we didn’t see him for a long time. Brit did release the “it’s a boy” bit on her website.
I think it’s fine if they want to wait to make the official announcement coincide with Kevin’s CD release. It’s their business about when they want to make it known. Let them be.

I think what he is saying is that it still shocks him that people he doesnt know and has never met know intimate details about his life. Like they know his kids names, and that reminds him of how watched they really are.

Sounds to me like they are using this for Kev’s media. I am 100% pos that it is infact a boy. People Mag never releases UNCONFIRMED by the “right” sources info. The name I would say ? to, but for sure..boy. These games that celebs play to almost draw attention to the situation is annoying. I feel that once they just come out with the announcement everyone can just get over it.

I think it’s a boy, and his name is Sutton Pierce. Someone has advised them to create some confusion re gender and name to help create some buzz for when his album comes out.

If you don’t care why bother reading & commenting on this post? They don’t “use” their kids anymore than the other celebs. I’ve heard Bale talk about his kids too. Kevin hasn’t been really talking about his kids in detail. But people complain anyway. If he gave a ton of info people would complain about that too.
They haven’t talked about their new baby, it’s not on them if the media jumped to conclusions & assumed things. They also don’t have to confirm any media reports either. I’ve actually come to like the name & hope they did pick it.
Nichole in 2003 California made it much harder to get just anybody’s certificate. You have to now show proof that you are authorized to obtain it.

that name Sutton was only a comment on the us weekly website the day that britney had the baby and they put it on there.
