I don’t care for Strummer. I
wish celebrities would take
into account that their kids
might want jobs outside of
Hollywood some day : (

Allison, what are you talking about?!?!?

My husband and I chose the middle name of Strummer for our 3 year old son. We are both music fans, my husband is also a successful singer. Strummer (in our case) is an homage to the late, great Joe Strummer of The Clash. I don’t see how this middle name would hinder him in any career choice.

If Strummer is his middle name, it’s not likely he’d even have to worry about anyone teasing him at school since most schools (as well as companies) usually use only your first and last names. Perhaps Allison thought Strummer was his first name?
