"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Tammy Etheridge explains the origin of her twins’ names

Tags: Names

Tammy Etheridge, who along with wife Melissa welcomed twins Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven a week and a half ago, explained the origins of her children’s names in a new post on her Hollywood Farm Girl blog. All of the names have special memories and meanings to Tammy and Melissa, as Tammy eloquently explains in her post.

The short version (although we recommend reading Tammy’s actual blog post, as it explains it very movingly and in more detail) – Johnnie is named after Melissa’s father John. Rose comes from the middle name of Tammy’s childhood babysitter. Miller is the last name of Tammy’s music teacher who first noticed her depression and became her confidante, and Steven is the name of Melissa’s bodyguard and close friend, who help Melissa and Tammy stay private in their everyday lives.

Tammy ends the post with this: Johnnie Rose and Miller Steven/not one letter is wasted/not one name pulled/out of nowhere/everything means something

life is a metaphor/and I have given birth/to two/named after/four/who changed our lives forever
