Model Josie Maran welcomes a daughter
In better-late-than-never news, we recently learned that model Josie Maran, 28, gave birth to her first child, daughter Rumi Joon, on June 20th in Los Angeles. Dad is Josie’s longtime boyfriend, photographer Ali Alborzi.
Josie is currently appearing on the cover of Fit Pregnancy’s Oct/Nov issue, and is featured in a prenatal yoga spread inside the magazine.
In the photos in the spread, Josie wears 1 in the Oven’s maternity henley in navy blue ($58). This super soft 100% waffle weave cotton henley has a sevenbutton jersey placket which transforms the look from classic crewneckto deep v neck.

I wonder if she named her after the poet Rumi. That’s an interesting idea! He wrote some very romantic poems.

Rumi? As in roomy? I do like how Rumi Joon flows though.
Gosh, every time I came across her name over the past months I thought “she must’ve had her baby by now”. You posted these pics of her, where she was very pregnant and nothing ever followed.
