Meg Ryan says her daughter Daisy is hilarious and an absolute light
Meg Ryan spoke to Entertainment Tonight’s Steven "Cojo" Cojocaru about her new daughter, Daisy True, almost 2 years old, who she adopted from China in January. Meg told him, "She’s a beautiful soul. She’s an absolute light and hilarious."
What is Daisy up to? Meg says, "She just started talking. This is another great thing for her. She doesn’t say ‘mommy’ or ‘mama,’ she calls me ‘mom’. She’s like ‘mom, hi!’ It sounds like a teenager saying that."
Her 14 year old son Jack (with ex-husband Dennis Quaid) likes Daisy now, but it sounds like he didn’t at first. Meg said, "Once he figured out she was funny, that she was actually hilarious, it was bang on, it was great. They’re great together."
Meg is in Shreveport, LA now shooting the romantic comedy, Homeland Security, with Antonio Banderas and Colin Hanks.

I think it’s great that Meg has found hapiness with her daughter. She deserves it….

An absolute light? Er, should that be delight? Or can someone explain to me how someone can be an absolute light?

Zoey – thank goodness someone asked that? I was wondering myself……maybe she did mean light (trying to say she is bright?). Who knows….I almost bet she said “delight.”

Meg does indeed look happy. I think she was searching for something for so long because she always seemed quite sad but now looks happy and content. Glad to see she’s back doing a movie too!

I am so happy to see Meg is happy. I miss her doing movies I can’t wait until this comes out I will run to see it. There was only one movie that she did that I did not care for *even though she was great in it* She is a great actress and I know this will be one of her best. Funny she is working with Tom Hanks son. How cool is that!!!
