Joely Richardson to leave show to be by daughter’s side during surgery
Nip/Tuck actress Joely Richardson has had to quit her job on the popular show for a family emergency concerning her teen daughter, Daisy, with her ex-husband Tim Bevan. Joely reportedly told TV Guide that when Daisy was born she was diagnosed with circulation problems, which would affect her life once she had developed into adolescence. British born Joely says she will return to London to help her daughter through multiple leg surgeries.
Surgeons and hospitals have been a big part of our lives. We were always told that she would have to have more surgeries when she got older. The time has come.
Joely says that she knew this day would come, and there was really nothing to think twice about.
I love my work but I had to be in two places at once and I thought, ‘If it were all over tomorrow, what would I regret?’ It would be not being there for her.’
She added that she does hope to one day be able to return to the show.

I’ve been watching Nip/Tuck from the beginning and her character has really come a long way! She has finally become self assured and confident, so I guess she should leave b/c that sure doesn’t fit in with anyone else on the show! I wish her family all the luck in the world with her daughter’s surgery and what a great Mom she is to make this decision. I’ll definitely miss her though.

I had no idea she had any children. Its a shame she has to leave Nip/Tuck but its obviously the best decision. I hope everything goes well for Daisy.

Hope that her daughter’s surgery and/or surgeries go well.
I’ll miss her character on the show. I wonder what the twist on the show will be.

If I were in her situation I would have left acting and been there for my daughter a looong time ago. Hope to God her daughter has successful surgeries; there is nothing worse than something happening to your child.
Also, it’s strange that in Nip/Tuck she just had a baby with complications as well. I wonder if it made her emotional in handling her character since she experienced similar things in real life.

As I only spend 6 months 2009 year here (May – december) and wish to retain the same mobile number I have to put lots of credit I don’t really need on my phone.for instance Bht. 300 gets me one more months’life’.Therefore to get to May next year I have to add bht 300 per month or Bht 3600 p.a..Is there any way of doing this more cheaply as I have a landline and Skype and don’t use the mobile(phone card) so much,but is still necessary ?
