MTV’s LaLa to be a MaMa – thanks to Carmelo Anthony!
Update: Baby to be is a boy, who they’ll be naming Kyan.
Originally posted September 19th: MTV TRL VJ LaLa Vazquez, 27, and her fiancé, Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, 22, have announced that they are expecting a baby in March. They have been engaged since December 25, 2004 and plan to get married after the baby is born.
Their representative told People, "The couple is very excited and they can’t wait until the arrival of their new baby."

I think that this is wonderful news! I don’t know either of them personally but my brother who plays ball knows Melo, so I know that he is a really cool guy. I wish them the best of luck, and if La La wants someone to fill in her shoes on MTV…….I’m ya girl!…….Congrats!!!

Congragulations to lala and carmelo!!!! i’m happy for the both of them. i’m a fan of both of them. i’ve been a fan of lala’s since she’s been on mtv. that’s my gurl. i know her personally and carmelo too. he’s like a brother to me. they are going to be be great parents towards kiyan. once again congrats to both of them!!!! denver nuggets forever!!!!!

I think that LaLa is no good. Melo deserves so much better than her. I’m happy that he is going to be a father, just not with her.

Hey, im so glad 4 them! And, its also gud that Carmelo quit wut he had 2 so 2 b by his fiance’ while givin birth! Now, thats wut a real man does! Congrats!! GOD BLESS
