"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

That’s a sweet photo of Joely and her daughter, but it’s great to finally see Angela and Courntey’s twins. They’re both just gorgeous. Can I take them home with me now? lol ;)

  2. Syndaryl Says:

I Love A.Basset. She is in my opinion the most talent Black Actress today. Her children are cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute.

  3. tan Says:

    They are some cute kids.

  4. sarah Says:

What are some of these stupid ppl thinking and how do you ever come up with an ugly name like True, I mean come on ppl what is going through your mind? Do you WANT these poor kids to be teased to DEATH? Just about a stupid as Bluebell and Moxie Crime fighter yes these are ugly names that these poor kids got to grow with. I know pets with better names!

  5. Naulie Says:

It’s great to see a woman in her 40’s (late 40’s, even!) having two beautiful, healthy children. I’m not sure of the circumstances surrounding their birth (surrogate? donor eggs? ect…) but regardless, she’s GLOWING.

Congrats Angela and Courtney! Your babies are BEAUTIFUL!!!

  6. Autumn Says:

Naulie, I think I read somewhere that Angela Bassett and her husband used a surrogate mother to have the children (so they could be her husband’s biologically, but I’m not sure) which is how they ended up with twins.

Either way they’re adorible children, well loved for sure!

Note from Danielle, CBB Publisher: Yes, the twins were carried by a surrogate.

  7. Angie Says:

I read in JET magazine where they interviewed that the surrogate was impregnated with the egg and sperm from Angela and her husband. The twins are theirs biologically.

  8. NishaG Says:

I believe they used her eggs and his sperm, but used a surrogaye to carry them to term (she’s had trouble with that). This is based on her interview with Essence Magazine.

  9. fiesim Says:
