"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Scott Stapp welcomes second child

SstappRocker Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn have welcomed their first child together. Milán Hayat was born in Miami, FL at 1 p.m. She weighed in at 6 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches long. She joins big brother Jagger, 8, from Scott’s previous marriage.

A press release from the couple detailed why they chose the interesting names they did for their daughter. It says, "Milán has been chosen from Scott’s Cherokee heritage for its definition, which is ‘to have the creativity of God.’ Hayat is from Jaclyn’s Jordanian upbringing and is simply ‘to give life.’ "

The statement also revealed that Scott has written a song for his daughter, much as he did for his son Jagger – the mega hit "With Arms Wide Open."

CBB: “A press release from the couple detailed why they chose the interesting names they did for their daughter”

I hope that everyone at CBB, editors and commentors alike, will keep in mind that so-called “normal” names like “Jane” and “John” are not “normal” names in other parts of the world; therefore, be mindful of referring to children’s names as “unusual” or “interesting”. This is not meant to accuse anyone of anything, it’s just that it’s 2006 and people don’t seem to get that there are people from other parts of the world here in America. Not everyone’s name will sound like it’s straight out of The Waltons or something. Maybe I’m just used to hearing names from all parts of the world????

I love him!! Good for them.

When I read this post, I thought of “interesting” as a compliment. Like “unique.” It is a unique and interesting name, that’s not a put-down, and I doubt CBB meant it as one, either.
