Gifts for Diddy’s twins
Rapper/actor LL Cool J gave fellow music alum P.Diddy’s twin girls, D’Lila Star and Jessie James, an extremely generous gift. For the couple’s "Little Miss Diddys’ Pretty in Pink" baby shower, the former In The House star got each of the babies a cream colored custom-made crib from Ga Ga Designs. They received two of these French Ancestry Cherubini Cribs ($2,250 each).
The cribs were on the Bad Boy Records label head’s baby registry, as well as an $88,000 Mercedes. (We don’t know if anyone got them the car.)
Other gifts from Ga Ga Designs included the Stella Pink Chandelier ($338) from Denzel Washington and the Seven-Drawer French Dresser/Changing Table ($3,120) from rapper/mogul Jay-Z.
Diddy and girlfriend Kim Porter welcomed daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James on December 21.

Aww, what a sweet present. The twins are very lucky that mummy and daddy have such kind friends!

I’m sorry, but thats just obscene! Diddy can afford 50 cribs at that price and someone actually bought them for the twins?? If I had Sean’s money I would pamper my children too, but I would do it myself. I wouldn’t even register for stuff. IF someone threw me a shower I would ask people to give gifts to charity in the baby’s or family’s name instead of giving gifts to me. Then, we would party and have fun! Celebs having baby showers is great, but buying each other cribs at that price(let alone 2) is just ridiculous! Why not give them 2 beautiful diaper bags? Or girly artwork for their rooms? Or cute matching outfits. I applaud Denzel for showing restraint!

I’m sorry, but why not take the money for those two cribs and buy 10 for some children who actually need them. Make the donation in the twins names, then give them a certificate or something to hang on their wall.

Imagine asking your friends to get you Mercedes? Its not like they couldn’t afford it themselvese. Anyway, what do babies want with a car? I personally find the whole idea of gift registries a bit tacky.
We don’t really have them here in Scotland, so I don’t really understand them, but I know that P.Diddy’s requests were way over the top!

Just vile when you consider all of the families out there who don’t have any money for cribs, etc.
Funny how they forget where they came from when it comes to overspending and gross displays of wealth, but they have no problem remembering where they came from in their songs.

I totally agree with you Stephanie (nice name, by the way!). I mean, it’s a nice gesture for these celebrites and all…but seriously, Diddy could buy 100 of those cribs with no skin off his back. Why not buy a nice crib for a family that can’t afford one for their baby?

I lost almost all respect I ever had for Diddy (wasn’t much in the first place since I hardly know anything that he’s done) when he used real fur in his clothes. This sure didn’t help.

Those cribs are ridiculously over priced. They’re not even that cute; Goddy and froo-froo in my opinion. My taste is much simpler, but I suppose everything in Diddy’s world is over the top.
