RUMOR: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes fear that Suri might be a “target for kidnapping plots”

After a whirlwind romance, a pregnancy, baby drama, and an extravagant wedding, it looked like Tom Cruise , 44, and Katie Holmes, 28, may finally be settling down peacefully with their daughter, Suri, 8 1/2 months. However, this week’s issue of tabloid Star Magazine brings the famous Cruise family back into the center of attention. Much controversy has surrounded Suri because of her rare appearances in public until she was featured in Vanity Fair and she was seen with her parents at their wedding last November. However, she hasn’t been seen since then.
David Letterman and Victoria Beckham have received threats of kidnap of their children and that probably scared Tom and Katie. A source says they, "are so worried that if Suri is exposed to the public, her life could be in danger." Another source claims that Tom and Katie are trying to keep Suri away from photographers as much as possible "to prevent some wacko from trying to abduct her."

God, this is ridiculous – true or not. If Suri was out in front of the cameras, wouldnt she be LESS likely to be abducted, because with so many people taking pictures of her, nothing would go unnoticed. The things people come up with… (and by people, I could mean either TomKat – if its true, and random gossip blogs – if its not)

I think they’re still trying to get rid of that port-wine birthmark between her eyebrows. I pity that poor child.
