Introducing Pierre Emmanuel Trudeau
Pierre Eliott Trudeau served as Canada’s Prime Minister for 15 years, over two periods from 1968-1979 and 1980-1984. A sometimes controversial and flamboyant political figure, he dated celebrities in his early bachelor days before settling down. In Canada, the Trudeau family is like the Kennedy family of the US.
Born on December 22, 2006 to Pierre’s son Alexandre (Sacha) Trudeau and his fiance Zoé Bedos, Pierre’s grandson, Pierre Emmanuel Trudeau, has finally made hisphotographic debut. His dad Sacha says he was named for his grandfather and himself (Emmanuel is his middle name too).

Aww, so small! His little face expression is adorable; he doesn’t seem too happy!

What a beautiful (brand)newborn! He’s not wrinkled at all and looks so chubby – sweet…

Calling them our version of the Kennedy family is pushing it, I think. There’s nowhere near that kind of interest.
The baby is cute, though.

Very sweet little boy. It’s too bad that Pierre never had a chance to meet his grandson. :{
I agree, the Trudeau’s and the Kennedy’s are not very similar to each other as far as popularity goes. The Kennedy’s seem like Royalty in the U.S. and although the Trudeaus are popular, they are not at that same level here in Canada.
Regardless, thank you for posting his picture! Too cute!
