Relish!: Quick and easy dinners for even the busiest moms
by CBB Reviews Contributor, Sharon Levine
Most Moms I know have a hard time getting a healthy meal onthe table for dinner nightly. Groceryshopping is not easy with a toddler to entertain, and who has time to peruse astack of cookbooks every night for recipes?
Relish! is a great new service that helps harried moms like me get it together. For asmall fee of $7 per month, you get e-mailed weekly menus including a detailedshopping list. All meals feed 4-5, and include an entrée and a side dish.
Recent weekly menus have included Roasted Rosemary Chickenwith Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Key Lime Halibut with Lime and Orzo with ToastedPine Nuts, and Pork Tenderloin with Blackberry Sauce and Steamed GreenBeans. The site also features vegetarian, slow cooker, and dessert recipes, as well as menu suggestions for holidays.
My only complaint is that menus cannot be personalized dueto dietary restrictions (allergies, kosher, etc), however plans are in place toadd this feature next year.
All in all, using Relish! has been a great experience.Getting the menus inspires me to cook and eat with my family. Celebrities canafford personal chefs, Using Relish!, us mere mortals can at least afford tocook like we have one!

That weekly magazine, Quick & Simple, features a weeks’ worth of menus and a detailed shopping list organized by store category in each issue, too. It’s $1.59 per issue.

I’ve used Relish for a year and couldn’t live without it. The menus are so good and I love the freezer recipes they provide.
