"I just LOVE him and love the fact that he has turned into such a wonderful actor, partner and father. Good for him. The pic with the two of them together just melts my heart. My hubby looks at me like that still and I treasure it because some women wish they could find a good man who will still look at them the same way they did years before."

"If you ask Violet what I do, she'll say she remembers me bowing on stage when I did a show in New York, and so she'll say, 'My mom sometimes will bow on stage and sometimes she gets her hair and makeup done.' It's a great job!"

Patrick looks so smokin’ on what appears to be his LeMond racing bike!

So, maybe I’ve missed it somewhere in past posts, but why are there always 2 different spellings of his daughter’s name? Do we not know which spelling they use or are they going to let her decide when she gets older? What am I missing?
Anyway, happy birthday to him & can’t wait for the twins to get here!

It’s nice to see a parent having fun with a child, but the picture showcases one of my pet peeves (celeb and non-celeb alike): parents outfitting their children with bike helmets (and hers looks too high — it should be touching her forehead) and not wearing them themselves. It implicitly conveys the message that they’re unnecessary and/or uncool once you get older.

  4. Sarah CBB News Editor Says:

Beth – it’s been spelled differently in different places. It seems to be Talula though – that’s how both People and Life magazines have spelled it in recent interviews.

  5. Lorus Says:

I agree with emmalee! He should be wearing a helmet as well. Parents need to set positive examples.
Her helmet needs to be across her forehead and not so far back.

Maybe I’m old fashioned, but in my opinion sometimes kids just need to do what they are told ie wear a bike helmet even if daddy doesn’t always wear one. I don’t see anything wrong with him tooling around on his bike at what is obviously a slow speed (he’s with her and she’s got training wheels). California law states children under 18 must wear a helmet. So this would be like saying that a parent shouldn’t have an alcoholic beverage around a child because the child can’t have one and its setting a bad example. Again, just my opinion, but there are different rules/laws for children……that’s just the way it goes.

Aside from him not wearing a helmet, which is a terrible example. She is wearing hers wrong! (obviously not the 5 yr-olds fault) Her bangs are adorable, but if the forehead isn’t covered by the helmet she could fall and injure her head. Wearing a helmet like this is almost as bad as not wearing a helmet, maybe worse since people think they’re protected.
