Inquest to be held for Anna Nicole Smith’s son’s death
A formal inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel Smith will be held in the Bahamas on March 26th. Of the more than 20 witnesses who will testify, TMZ reports that one will testify that Howard K. Stern gave Daniel the methadone that helped kill him, then flushed the remaining pills down the toilet. Methadone is typically used for treatment of heroin withdrawal and dependence, but is also used to relieve chronic pain. Daniel had six other drugs in his system at the time of his death, including three antidepressants Lexapro, Zoloft and Amitriptyline, and two over-the-counter cold medications.
