So when a celebrity parent(s) doesn’t ’show off’ their kids straightaway, people seem to think it means they don’t exist, but when they eventually do, they’re accused of doing it for publicity/good press or whatever. They just can’t win really! People really need to stop acting like they know everything!

Now that Jayden has been photographed it might affect any deal she had coming up for exclusive photos. Then again maybe she’s not interested and is just getting on with life…

Britney isn’t the first, nor will she be the last, celebrity parent who is ridiculed for their actions – justified or not. Just look at TomKat… and their bad press was nothing like Britney’s (their baby was even ridiculed) so I really have no sympathy towards her, sorry! =)

And as far as my comments about her using the kids for good press… I stand by it, and always will. =)

Ada – I don’t understand why people are so critical of her based on pictures. Its not like she said something like she has to force herself to take care of him, like some people.

I must have bad vision because I can’t make out another kid, a little of SP but that’s it.

It’s Brit’s right to decide when she wants to take her child out. But some people as well as myself, are saying at this time last year when SP was the same age as Jayden is now, everyone had seen him numerous times. Maybe she wanted to do it different with this child. After all he is her son.

I have to say I agree w/ Jackie. The paparazzi were cleary taken pics of Sean P. while Britney was either still inside or in the car. I swear there should be some laws put together to help atleast protect the kids from the paparazzi. Their parents are fair game but I think when they are out with the kids they shouldn’t be allowed to take their photos. I know this would mean we wouldn’t see the kids and stuff like the cbb wouldn’t exist but I feel really bad for these kids. And I guess I’m no better for reading sites like these.

Oh, and I disagree with your assessment that if I saw a baby in VS I wouldn’t look twice… Yes, I would – and I’d give a couple looks to the mother.

My opinion is that Britney WOULD use her kids to get good press, especially after a large string of bad stories.

Note that when her marriage was being put through the wringer, she hauled Sean Preston out, and put on a “happy family” act for the cameras.

Note also, after partying it up for weeks on end and being ridiculed for leaving her kids at home alone, she hauls Sean Preston and plays “good mommy” at the park.

Once she gets the press, she puts the kid away for a few weeks or months. You never even saw Jayden in a carseat until now… a few bad stories and questions being raised and SURPRISE, here he is!

Yes, Britney does use her kids – believe it or not, agree with it or not – SHE DOES.
