Simply Red’s Mick Hucknall to become a father
British Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, 46, is to become a father for the first time. He and his companion Gabriella Wesberry are expecting a daughter in June. Mick and Gabriella began dating in 1995, separated for a while, but reconciled in 2003. Mick told his friends,
We’re absolutely over the moon. It’s the most amazing news ever. I can’t wait to become a dad.
This may lead to them marrying as well, as he has said in the past, "I still look upon marriage as a religious structure… but we might [marry] after children."

I’m a huge fan of Mick’s and Simply Red. Congratulations to Mick and Gabriella. What great news. I’m sure this new adventure will bring them closer than ever and I’m sure Mick will be a fabulous Dad!
