Child Magazine’s Fall 2007 Fashion Show
I attended Child Magazine’s Fall 2007 Fashion Show at Bryant Park (part of NYC’s Fashion Week). Celebs in attendance included: Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee, Reverend Run and his wife Justine Simmons and daughters Angela and Vanessa, 50 Cent, Hilary Duff (and her mom), Elisabeth Hasselbeck, husband Tim Hasselbeck and daughter Grace, Cynthia Rowley, Project Runway’s Tim Gunn and Laura Bennett (who I got to meet, thanks to the Project Rungay guys), and Miss Jay from America’s Next Top Model. Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee’s girls Ming Lee and Aoki Lee opened and closed the show wearing, what else, Baby Phat Girlz.
Other celeb kids walked the runway wearing their parents’ own designs:
- Rev Run’s sons (Russell Simmons’ nephews) Russell and Daniel wearing Phat Farm Boyz
- 50 Cent’s son Marquise (aka 25 Cent) wearing G Unit
- Sean Combs’ son Justin wearing Sean John Boys
- George Lopez’s daughter Mayan wearing Stuff by Hilary Duff
- Laura Bennett’s son Pierson wearing her line
- Cynthia Rowley’s daughter Kit who wore her line (Gigi was scheduled to walk but was with her nanny in the front seat)
- Catherine Malandrino’s son Oscar who wore her line
- Lindsay Lohan’s siblings Cody and Ali walked, wearing GapKids and Tibi
- Bridge to Terabithia’s beautiful AnnaSophia Robb and best friend Josh Hutcherson wore Shoshanna and Diesel
Child Magazine unveiled looks from top designers such as Zutano, Greggy Girl (pictured left), Jacadi, Il Gugo, Baby Lulu, Simonetta, Baby CZ, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Tocca, Red Sound, Timberland, Joe Black, Cakewalk, Verde & Mela, Tibi, Jottum, Tory Burch, Bill Blass, Mika Vero, Angel Sanchez, Stuff by Hilary Duff, The Mary-Kate and Ashley Brand, Cashmirino, Ecko Unlimited and Ecko Red, Hurley, Rocawear, Timerland, XOXO, Cynthia Rowley, Catherine Malandrino, Sean John Boys, Lucy Sykes, Nicole Miller, Baby Phat Girlz, and Phat Farm Boyz in the only children’s runway show under the tents. Shoes were provided by Payless Shoe Source, Stride-Rite, Primigi, Converse Bear Feet and Frye Boots and tights and socks by Tic Tac Toe and Zitomer Pharmacy.

Russell and Daniel are Rev Run’s (Joseph Simmons) sons, not Russells.

I thought Russell and Daniel Simmons were the nephews of Russell (Reverend Runs kids).

I could see 50 Cent in the audience
(I think). I couldn’t recognize any more people in the video.

When you see 50 Cent in the audience you can see how small his baby mama is next to him. It looks somewhat funny. Marquise is just a cutie.

I love how Child Magazine has their own fashion show. Watching the kids strut the runway is just too cute. Thanks for the wonderful pics and videos posted. Ming and Aoki Simmons are by far my faves.

I am trying to find some pictures of the new Fall 2007 Baby Lulu lines. I was told the line moved away from florals, but I can’t find any pictures. Do you know where I could find a sneak peak? Thank you! Diana
