Liv Tyler on her ‘transformational’ two year break to focus on motherhood
Actress Liv Tyler, 29, appears on the cover of the March issue of Glamour magazine. Inside, she talks about the shift from selfishness to selflessness after giving birth to her son Milo, now 2. She said,
I’ve been a model and actress since I was 14, so I’ve been on a dietmy whole life. But once I gave birth, I didn’t want to think about myself orfeel insecure about my career; I wanted to think about my child. So Istopped worrying about diets.
Also life changing for her was decision to take a full two years off from work after the birth of her son. She calls the experience ‘transformational,’ saying,
Is that a word? [laughs] Getting pregnantand caring for a baby gave me a confidence I’d never had before. Ireally felt I’d done something well, and I can’t say that aboutanything else in my life.

I like her affable personality and down to earth nature. She has managed to shed all of her baby weight, if you’ve seen recent photos of her. I think she looks very youthful and terrific w/out makeup.

Goes to show that no matter how beautiful someone is they still have doubts about themselves. Liv is a wonderful mother and I’m glad she found that peace she was looking for.
