Toni Collette on future plans for motherhood
Toni Collette talked to Australian OK Magazine this week about her life, her roles and her thoughts on motherhood. Toni has been married to Dave Galafassi for four years, and they don’t yet have any children.
You often play mothers in movies – do you want children yourself?
Yes I do, in another year or so. I don’t know what kind of mother I’ll be. It’s a big responsibility and I’m really scared because I don’t want to mess this child up! I’ll try to instill good values and do my best to encourage my children to be themselves. When I do get pregnant I want to take time off and be really present, because those early years are so important.

I didn’t realize she was only 34 (I looked up her age after I read this post.) I thought she was older than that. She’d be adorable when pregnant–I hope that happens for her soon, I’m sure she would be a great mother.
