Tom Brady excited to be a father
Despite their December breakup and the fact that he has a new girlfriend, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 29, says he is excited that he will be the father of a baby with actress Bridget Moynahan, 36. Bridget’s representative announced the pregnancy Sunday.
Tom’s agent said today,
Tom and his family are excited about thepregnancy, and want to thank everyone who has shown support, andparticularly for their consideration of Tom’s privacy.
Tom has been seen out with model Gisele Bundchen as of late. Bridget and Tom’s split was blamed on an intense focus on work rather than the relationship – Bridget on her show, Six Degrees(now on hiatus but filming new episodes) and Tom on the Patriots runfor the SuperBowl. At the time, both agreed the relationship was nolonger working.
It already seems that Tom and Bridget’s friends are talking trash. Toms’ friends are saying that Bridget didn’t tell Tom she was going to announce the pregnancy and that she "may have gotten pregnant on purpose." Meanwhile, Bridget’s friend said that Tom dumped her "right around the time he found out she was pregnant and immediately started dating Gisele Bundchen."
We hope Tom and Bridget are able to work out this unfortunate love triangle/pregnancy amicably.

whatever happened to the old-fashioned word ‘father’? He’s excited to be a father…’baby daddy’ is so tacky. Why do people use it?

I hope they can work it out.
I have known a few people (obviously non-celebrities) and it is hard, but not unrealistic for them to handle.

Those people can’t possibly be their friends. This is a private matter for Tom and Bridget to solve. It’s noone’s bussiness but their own. Lucky baby with Gisele as a sitter:-)

Are we sure they are old enough to take on the responsibility of parenting a child? Geesh. This he said/she said crap is getting old.

Let’s hopes the trash talking stops soon for everyone’s sakes. This could be a positive or negative situation depending on how they deal with it. I hope its the former!
