Christina Aguilera drops three thou on baby stuff, but not pregnant, or so she says
Apparently Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman dropped $3,000 at baby and teen furniture store Bellini in Beverly Hills. According to In Touch Magazine, they bought "a dozen Petit Bateau onesies at $20 each, several $90 little Giraffe blankets, a $350 Mia Bossi polkadot diaper bag and a Peg Perego stroller."
A store employee told the New York Daily News,
She came in with her husband and he sat in one of the big chairs and let her do her shopping. They said they don’t know what they’re having. They seemed really excited. She was talking to [another customer] and she said she took a home pregnancy test and that it was positive. She kept saying they’d have to come back when they knew the sex of the baby.
Only problem is Christina’s representative says she’s not pregnant and she wasn’t even at the store. She told Us Weekly,
It’s all made up. She was not at Bellini. She was on a plane to Las Vegas for the NBA appearance.
Maybe Bellini is trying to be the new Petit Tresor.

Aw I think it’d be cool if Christina and her husband Jordan had a baby, they’ve been married a while now (2 yrs? I forget) and I think they’ll do fine as parents.
What might make Christina reluctant to announce a pregnancy to the world (other than early stages, etc.) is the unfortunate reputation Britney Spears has brought upon 20 something moms, especially “former-teen-popstar-20-something-moms,” for being bad/irresponsible/immature/PPD-prone, etc.
I would hope whenever Christina has kids, she’s a more responsible mother than BS, but only time will tell.

If this is true and not just a rumor, then I say good for them. They’ve been married for a year so at least they aren’t following the out of wedlock trend.

autumn, PPD can strike anyone at any age. please don’t lump it in with being a “bad mom”. Its a proven medical condition and should be treated and if it contributed to Britney’s demise the last few months then its not entirely her fault. Lets hope she gets the help she needs.
as for Christina being a mom, I think she would make a great one. I heard she said recently that kids were farther in the future and she is just starting a tour so I doubt its true, but who knows!

Although I think she will make a great mom someday, I am doubting this story as true.
She was in Vegas this weekend, she performed at the all-star game half time show. Even though other women have gone on tour while pregnant (Gwen), I don’t think Christina is.
And why would she spill all that personal info to a complete stranger?! Christina and Jordan are somewhat private people and I cannot believe that she told a stranger that she’s pregnant, while her representative is telling the public, “NO”.

Oh I know that PPD is a real disorder, which Brooke Shields admitted she’d once had and thankfully dealt with in a healthy way.
As far as other celebs, I don’t think at least two of them didn’t know how to treat themselves when they might’ve had it.
In my personal opinion, I believe both Britney and Anna Nicole suffer(ed) from PPD to some degree, which then might’ve contributed to their current state.
Britney had her boys back to back, so if she had it at all with Sean, it just carried over into her pregnancy and post-pardum with Jayden. (Notice she broke up w/K-Fed right after she gave birth to JJ.) Did that contribute to her ridiculous behavior lately? Probably so to some degree, although she obviously has other problems.
Anna Nicole’s oldest son Daniel died right after the birth of her daughter, so obviously she had depression from his death as well as possible PPD from Dani’s birth, plus the stress from her baby-daddy, the media, etc. Unfortunately though, instead of seeking a rehab center, ANS self-medicated herself (possibly) accidently to death.
Anyway, as far as Christina, I think she’ll make an all right mom, whenever she’s blessed with children.

Sarah, I was thinking the same thing! It’s obviously not a true story (although I do wish it was!). Christina can’t be in two places at once…
