NKOTB’s Jordan Knight welcomes second son
Former New Kid on the Block (and now solo artist) Jordan Knight, 36, and his wife Evelyn welcomed their second son on Wednesday afternoon in Boston. Eric Jacob weighed in at 7 lbs, 5 oz, and joins big brother Dante Jordan, 7 1/2. According to Jordan, girls need to "watch out – [Eric's] a looker!"
On his wife’s challenging labor, Jordan said,
I can’t believe the strength of my wife. Now that the intense emotions have passed, I’m walking around on cloudnine!
Also excited is the new big brother. Says Jordan,
He wouldn’t sleep for a day and a half until he saw his baby brother. He was priceless.

When my oldest at 2 came to the hospital to see his little sister for the first time I was expecting a Hallmark moment. He ignored me and told his daddy to put that baby down. I understand now that he was upset with me for “leaving him”, but with postpartum hormones I cried for days thinking what have I done to my angel. At 10 and 8 now they are as close as can be.

When my little sister was born, my parents put a picture of me in her bassinet so she could get used to what I looked like. Well, when I went to visit her for the first time, I was apparently MUCH more interested in the fact that there was a picture of me than the fact that I had a new baby sister
My parents tried to get me interested in the baby.. but nope couldn’t care less. Just wanted to look at my picture xD

My oldest son was obsessed with Batman. He was telling everyone at school I was having a baby brother(we didn’t know what we were having). Then he started telling everyone that I was having Batman. My husband wanted me to make a jumpsuit for him but I didn’t.
I had a little girl and when he saw his new little sister in the little bed with just a diaper and a full head of black hair, we said,” Joshua this is your new little sister, Anelise.” He looked back at us while my husband had the video camera on and said, ” I’m still going to call her Batman!” I will never forget that and to have it on film is PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

when my second son was in my belly, before we knew what we were having, I’d ask my oldest where his baby sister was, and he’d shake his head… I’d ask him where the baby was, and he’d point to my belly, I’d ask him where his baby brother was, and he’d point to my belly.
I wouldn’t ask them right in a row… just randomly…
turned out it was a boy.
From the time I brought him home, he was in love. He got moments of jealousy, but they’ve always been buddies.
when I was pregnant with my daughter, my younger son didn’t really want to talk about the baby in there…. and he was really jealous when my daughter was first born, but my first son was pretty casual, just taking it all in stride, as it had happened before, but excited once we found out it was a girl.
after baby was born for my first son, and after the jealousy faded for my second, they were both in love with “princess baby sister”
my oldest would help with feedings and diapering so his brother wasn’t so jealous… he loved holding a bottle or helping out… that boy earned so many quarters.

Brandi, that is such a funny and heartwarming story. It sounds like something my brother would’ve said. He loved Batman when he was a kid.

I just finished listening to that young singer Nasri on MYSPACE and his music is so great. He is actually behind the NKOTB comeback. He wrote the song “ click click click”, “Close to you” and co-wrote “ summertime ” with Donnie. He also is working on some other songs with the group according to the NKOTB website.
