Pregnant princesses attend exceptional gala in Oslo
Princesses Maxima of the Netherlands and Mary of Denmark attended the grand gala reception hosted by King Harald of Norway for his 70th . The event congregated many European royals in Oslo, where a series of events took plate to celebrate the King’s onomastic. Mary chose a burgundy dress and Maxima a pale green dress with pearl jewelery. Princesses and mums Mette Marit of Norway and Mathilde of Belgium were also in attendance. Much missed was the attendance of the other pregnant princess, Letizia of Spain, who is still mourning the death of her younger sister. It would have been the first time Letizia attended a set of complete gala celebrations with other European royals.
Some photos of the event can be seen at Hola, here and here.

as a useless bit of trivia, Crown Princess Mary is an Australian former real estate agent who met Prince Frederik at a Sydney bar lol. Was rather expecting to see her son Christian(16mths I think)in the CBB voting poll but I guess, while quite cute, isn’t really very well known outside a couple of countries….
